    Not acoustic but always thought Hendrix was a master at playing around chord shapes. Single note lead notes but always falling back to a chord shape, in some form. Some songs are just best kept simple with chords, wether intro, outro, and between. Great lesson!

    Such a gift to have these little lessons on UA-cam! When I started out, I was gifted a “Sears Special” and a Mel Bay book for Christmas when I was 10! Action so high for my tiny fingers 😂, and what became a fabulous way to learn to play by ear later on. Self taught with my grandmother teaching me basic chords and old Gospel tunes when we’d visit. What I would have given for the I internet back then!! Great content🤗
