Not feminist stuff, just a tough girl who was tired of some jackass dudes. Movies like Thelma and Louise are more feminist forward, this was a badass chick with some good exploitation and great funny dialog from all involved. As far as making of the ugly bad guy...its kind of what I do, I make fun of everyone for the most part. :)
WET is awesome! I loved that game. So much fun. I was so annoyed the canceled the sequel. This movie is great exploitation, it has a little something for everyone!
William Smith also played a Russian Spec Ops colonel in the movie Red Dawn. From what I heard he is a Russian speaker and served as an intelligence officer during the Korean War.
🤣 Love these movie overviews. I have the same sense of humor about these type of movies. Just found your work on UA-cam and really enjoying all the videos. Keep up the great work!
I love this video of Policewomen. I really enjoy all of your videos. I was wondering if Quentin Tarantino has ever seen any of your videos. I think he'd get a real kick out of them.
This looks amazing! And the homely female arch-villain seems like a character we haven't seen a hundred times. It's usually OK for male crime kingpins to be unattractive, but the women have to be vixens. Wonder if this influenced Anne Ramsey's work in the '80s? Got to admit it was awkward, though, when I thought the guy was calling her "Ma" and not Maude"!
Ps saw this at the drive in with parents I was 12 years old second feature was a film called Dirty O Neal. Have Policewoman on DVD loved it back then as a.kid and love it today 2023 also waiting for a Blu-ray to.come out come on Crown International Pictures get hopping to it.👍👍👍👍
For anyone who actually lived through the Seventies William Smith's biggest role was in Rich Man, Poor Man, a role that made him one of the most hated men on TV for causing the death of Tommy, one of the series' main leads.
William Smith was also the Russian Colonel in the movie Red Dawn, apparently he also fluent in Russian as well, and worked as a translator during the Korean War.
Thanks for this enjoyable review. I have not seen the movie yet, but will most likely give it a try. Interesting note for fans of the classic tv show MASH -the character of Kim is played by the actress that played Rosie (from seasons 5 -10). She was a hottie back then :)
Hey Cecil, this video has the best music intro that sets the grindhouse vibe of the 70s!!! Question: is the music intro on this video same one on the film?
A new review from Cecil? Awesome! *high fives self You can never really high five yourself, can you? You can only clap above your head. Forever alone. : (
2:41 HA! Bill Smith got his ass handed by a red head hot chick way before he got his has ass handed to him by Eastwood in ''Any Which Way You Can'' and by Busey in the very underrated revenge flick ''Eye of the Tiger''. 8:29 I've done that LOL Welcome back Cecil another fun review so you could say with the ''Lacey Bond ''character in this flick is sword of a templete of how the Cynthia Rothrock character ''China O'Brian'' would become? Minus the nudity and such LOL!
I think Tony Young turned downed the role of Joe in Fistful of Dollars. And I would argue that William Smith's best role was the Russian advisor in the original Red Dawn.
Maybe the long dating scene from this movie is what Naked Gun made fun of?
Dan Fors
I thought the same thing.

William Smith played the hero in 1979's SEVEN. Another good bad film.
ok. i've watched so many of these now . . . i am subbing. this channel turns me on to so many awesome movies.
Thanks man. This reminds me, I need to get some Rothrock videos going.
Missed opportunity to name her Lacie Brasier.
🤣 Love these movie overviews. I have the same sense of humor about these type of movies. Just found your work on UA-cam and really enjoying all the videos. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
Now all we need is movie where the girls from D.O.A. and policewomen team up and kick ass.
Thanks. It's a good thing we can pause these, so I can take notes on all the crazy titles I want to see! ;) tavi.
I could not stop laughing at this review!!!! Seriously. Hahahaha!!!
Johnny McAuliffe thanks! I had fun with this one
I wish I had a seaplane, sea-plane, sea plane. Oh, never mind.
In case you're curious, the great William Smith is still going strong as of April 2020.
I love this video of Policewomen. I really enjoy all of your videos. I was wondering if Quentin Tarantino has ever seen any of your videos. I think he'd get a real kick out of them.
William Smith was SO fucking awesome!!!
As always your commentary is hilarious. The runaways was a pretty awesome band.

Maude"!
RBG... PLAYED a significant role...
I didn't know Ayn Rand was an actress.
Its nice to see female protagonists who could hold their own in the 70's.
Ps saw this at the drive in with parents I was 12 years old second feature was a film called Dirty O Neal. Have Policewoman on DVD loved it back then as a.kid and love it today 2023 also waiting for a Blu-ray to.come out come on Crown International Pictures get hopping to it.👍👍👍👍
We need more badass women action movies, 0% casual sexism,100% women kicking ass.
For anyone who actually lived through the Seventies William Smith's biggest role was in Rich Man, Poor Man, a role that made him one of the most hated men on TV for causing the death of Tommy, one of the series' main leads.
Roll that beautiful bean footage!
Cecil. I love your work.
The karate instructor was also in the original Red Dawn.
William Smith was also the Russian Colonel in the movie Red Dawn, apparently he also fluent in Russian as well, and worked as a translator during the Korean War.
Love the MST3K call backs. :)

The Burning is a classic, I've been trying to decide if I should do it or not
Thanks for this enjoyable review. I have not seen the movie yet, but will most likely give it a try. Interesting note for fans of the classic tv show MASH -the character of Kim is played by the actress that played Rosie (from seasons 5 -10). She was a hottie back then :)
Fantastica
Hey Cecil, this video has the best music intro that sets the grindhouse vibe of the 70s!!! Question: is the music intro on this video same one on the film?
Carlton Staples yep, its the theme from the movie
she was also in 2 episodes of Columbo
Thanks, good to be back!
Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4D
I'd be afraid that she'd kick the shit out of me, too o_O
Thanks!
MITCHELL. 'Dis aint gonna be good
Thanks! I appreciate it
no but I'll check em out when I get a chance
Thanks you!
I love the stuff you do keep it up
Sauciest thing my grandma ever said is that loose shorts ruined the NBA for her.
C4 is actually a very stable explosive, it can't explode unless it has both heat and force.
The plot feels like a weird combination of MITCHEL and WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN.
He.s back. the man behind the mask. I mean UA-cam movie reviews ...WB Cecil
When William Smith gets his ass kicked .. you best believe. someone brought a Xylophone
Thank you! It did turn out pretty sweet indeed.
William Smith was also in the original Red Dawn.
You and me both!
Interesting fact about the 48 frames, great video.
7:58 oh look, Victor Sullivan’s come to the rescue. Or is it a prequel story to how he got the plane.
BEST INTRO EVER !!!
Do you the old lady is named Maude because of ''Harold & Maude'' reference?
Lemunt Picard possibly. More than likely its just an old lady name
+Lemunt Picard More like to get the theme to the MAUDE tv show stuck in my head! :-P
Cool I wonder which of her flicks are you going to review? anyway i'll wait I have a feeling it'll be with it lol
Fun Fact: At 6:07, that's actually a Mini Moke.
What's the name of that piece of music at the very beginning of the video?
0:55 Just like any other cops. Especially Uvalde cops
That would be unbelievably outstanding
4:01 Pretty neat of that car to lose it's engine after going over the cliff like that.
what is the theme song at the start of the video !
Listen up everyone, Mini Mokes are GoKarts now!
I didn't know the legendary William Smith was in this movie.
More importantly gold is heavier than that.
No, why?
All in due time :)
Now for a review of Slammer Girls!
:50
For that era. Old girl is *thicc*
Maude sure looks like Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
A new review from Cecil? Awesome! *high fives self
You can never really high five yourself, can you? You can only clap above your head.
Forever alone. : (
Hey Cecil, could you explain the Mitchel reference? thanks bro
MST3K, the movie "Mitchel"
It seems absurd but fun.
Yep. A lot of low budget b movies are like this.
/virtual high five
4:31 testify!
Wow, Radu's mom was quite the criminal before she had him, huh?
lol
Look there is a policeman woman
She's no white belt!
There you go.. Strong Female Lead and Character who kicks male and female ass, has a sense of humor, sexy and beautiful..
LOL!
2:41 HA! Bill Smith got his ass handed by a red head hot chick way before he got his has ass handed to him by Eastwood in ''Any Which Way You Can'' and by Busey in the very underrated revenge flick ''Eye of the Tiger''.
8:29 I've done that LOL
Welcome back Cecil another fun review so you could say with the ''Lacey Bond ''character in this flick is sword of a templete of how the Cynthia Rothrock character ''China O'Brian'' would become? Minus the nudity and such LOL!
did Mitchell play Dom Santoro in Casino?
I think Tony Young turned downed the role of Joe in Fistful of Dollars. And I would argue that William Smith's best role was the Russian advisor in the original Red Dawn.
Why does imdb show 1974 for instead of 1979?
I genuinely thought Maude was played by Ayn Rand.
Films need more accordion soundtracks.
5:55......nice......
MST3K! Funniest crap ever!
1305 Paul Giamatti
Better be careful with those manicures when doing fight scenes...
And why is there a skirt constantly come up all the way to her stomach shoot I wish more girls would wear skirts like that lol
Easier to move that way while maintaining a slim profile.
The most beautiful girl in this movie is ... Catalina 😍
Well, it was the '70s.
