I only have 5 Jordan 1's in my collection, but they might be the best ones ever. I have the 2016 Breds, 2015 Chicagos, 2018 Shadows, Union Black Toes, & Union Storm Blues.

I only have 2 pairs of Jordan 1s (Clay Greens and Ying Yang) and I swear even though they aren't OG colorways, they are my most versatile and wearable Jordans. My all time favorite Jordan 1 is the Bred 1s, saving up for those one day!

I remember on my birthday I had just gotten my paycheck and saw a pair of banned 1s 2016 on grailed for $315, this was more than a year ago when ds pairs were like $500-$600, I ended up negotiating the pair for $280 and I still love them to this day. No matter the hype, 1s always gon have a special place in my heart

People forget the OG Shattered Backboards dropped on the same day as the Yeezy Boost 350 Turtledoves. They got completely overshadowed. I remember off the bat resale for the SBBs hovered around the $250-$300 range for like a month because everyone was trying to buy the Turtledoves under $600.

3. Union Black Toe (By modern taste or as Richie would put it, the "Artistic" side of it)
If I had to put top 3 most unique Jordan 1 I would definitely put the LA to Chicago there. The more it fades and the purple and red combine the more beautiful it looks. Almost like you’re looking at aurora borealis . So beautiful imo. Btw I think the shadow 2018 beats the sbb in quality leather

I actually agree with this list! I’d swap out the shattered backboard for the 2019 obsidians. I know, I know, but the color way is so versatile. Speaking of versatile - I’d trade the black tie union ones for the shadows. Just my humble opinion 🙏🏽

I think the idea is that if you wore the sneakers from LA and skated to Chicago, by the time you get there the shoes will have turned to the bulls colorway. That shoe is so unique and speaks to so much of jordan's history as well as to skating culture for people in LA who skate a lot as well as love MJ in chicago.
