The way Nico holds up play and tries to turn and attack is the best I've EVER seen in a Chelsea shirt. We've had some great hold-up strikers down the years but they've generally tried to win free-kicks to play the percentages. Nico just wants to turn with the ball and do a madness on the opposition. I'm absolutely loving it. I can honestly say on recent performances I wouldn't want to swap Nico Jackson for anyone.
I have to acknowledge how he always attract 2 - 3 defenders to him which creates so much space for the rest of our attackers.. just needs to learn how to let go of the ball at the right time or quicker.. he definitely has to potential to be one of the best strikers we've had at our club..

We really need to sort out our defense. Badiashille needs to improve, his decisions when it comes to 1v1 is appaling
I’ve seen enough from him to know how good he is. He’s not only VERY young but he’s had a horrible time with injuries. Remember,players develop at different rates. I learned my lesson from Rudiger. I wanted that guy out the club. Then he became a world class defender as soon as a manager that believed in him came in and gave him direction and showed him how to channel his aggression. Dont forget Fofana who I also haven’t been impressed with when he has played. I actually think Badiashile was better last year. Then we have Levi who still has to show that he isn’t a weak defender with bad judgment. He has reminded me of Christensen who I never was a fan of. Hopefully that’s down to him playing out of position and being low on confidence.

@@Blackstari You can't compare Badia to Rudiger. Rudiger played in Germany for Stuttgart before going to Roma in Italy where he reached a UCl semi final. I get what you mean by not judging him to early and in fairness it is early to judge him but my concern is we saw what he offered in his first season under Potter when he was good but ever since that injury his had a drop off from what he offered last season and he seems to be getting progressively inconsistent. I'd say next season if we want to get top 4 we either play him as a backup from the bench and get quality experience from Varane or even send him out on loan for more game time because frankly with everyone fit I just don't see him starting when we have people like Colwil hungry for game time
@@Mcca-2256 We can compare them though. He played for Monoco which had one of the best defensive records in that league then he joined us and looked great under potter. You said the right thing. He got injured. He just needs some time to get his confidence back. Loaning him out isn’t going to help. If we loan him then he won’t get back into this squad. You just gotta play him and let him work it out like we did with Rudiger. If he’s horrible bench him. Simple. There’s a hell of a player in there though so I definitely need to see him next year fighting for a spot. We NEVER needed Disasi. We had Trev and I never understood that purchase. I love his character but he’s not it.

@@BlueLionsTVNiiNiiFCthe emphasis on goals came at the detriment of having a weaker defense. Past managers at chelsea won the league and trophies with having solid defense. I believe that was Pochettino’s mindset at the beginning of the season as we had one of the best defensive records in the league at that time. However, we lacked the cutting edge uptop, which was why we decided to change our approach to be more offensive, but it came at the risk of leaving our defense exposed. Now, I believe we have found the right balance. Rome wasn’t built in a day and especially with the factors going against us, I believe Pochettino’s did what was right with what he had. Our season has been successful when all things considered.

I think I'm alone on this but do we really need Oshimen. Jackson had a good 1st season we can expect him to improve. We Cole and Cristo supported by Mudryk Noni Sterling and Chuck. Paez will certainly get more minutes too if we don't buy Oshimen. I would we have plenty of options for next season and plenty of goal options. Spend that money on a top LB to immediately upgrade defense and attack even more.

i think jackson can play along with a player like osimhen, jackson could play as a second striker or a winger, his skill set isnt best suited to playing as the main striker for us

i've said it too many times, the start of the season should have focused on how to score, to get confidence infront of goal and then you fine tune as the season goes on , we did it back to front, thats why our season start set us back

@kofiopoku8847 if you want to create a balanced defence in that of ours silva and chalobah are our best pairs,silva makes pin point passes,he always make the midfielders to play he organises our back and brings some calmness,the guy can still score than any of our current defenders we have.

I have been watching Caicedo play since he was 15. Brighton and De Zerbi are a bunch of hacks living off of Caicedo's Talent. They had the NERVE to say that "THEY" developed Caicedo! INFURIATING. Caicedo was already a starter for the Ecuadorian national team before he even landed in Europe. Check out his performance against Argentina in Buenos Aires with 90K screaming Argentine fans. The coach moreno had to tell him to back off on Messi because he clamped him down and was about to break him. Brighton were so impressed with Caicedo that they sent him off the Beerschot, the worst team in Belgium. I hope Caicedo scores a HAT TRICK

We have all hoped that our young squad will grow and make better decisions. I have assumed that our coach wouldn't need to go through a similar process. But it seems we have to accept that Poch needs to get better as well. He has made some dumb choices throughout the season that has affected our position. Hopefully he gets more time to prove himself and make better choices.

We’re spending 65 million on another 16 year old right winger when it’s our most saturated position. We literally have six of them already. We had to sell our pitch to ourselves and our hotels just to comply with FFP. I’m EXTREMELY worried about our direction. I can’t lie.

That's how you keep tweaking and improving the squad. Personally I hope Noni and Mudryk reach the top. But we don't know yet. @@folcane I’m aware of that. Development isn’t a linear process. We saw that with Rudiger. My point is if you are going to buy players that are prospects and need development then you have to create the right environment for them to develop. Hiring Poch was one part of the equation but what about everything else? Speaking of Madrid, they have a mix of experience and the young ones to follow behind. That’s the IDEAL way to do it. Our board just went all the way with youth which is always going to be tough. They need that time to go through ups and downs through seasons to become what they need to be. Just buying and chucking isn’t going to work. You can’t compare us to the greatest manager the premier league has ever seen. He’s playing Gvardiol at Lw right now and it’s working lmao Our situation is way different to Real Madrid and Man city. If you’re going to have a team full of kids you need to give them the time to develop. Not just trade them around like Pokémon cards. Look at Broja. Kid has all the qualities to succeed. He just got off a huge injury and he lacks confidence. All we need to do is buy either Wilson or Danny Ings and have him and Jackson rotate. Especially since Jackson can also play Lw some games too. @@Blackstari I think what most fans lose sight of and you to here is the structure of the club. The only reason Pep is flying high is because City is well organized same goes for Madrid as the rebuild team after team. It's hard for most fans to admit but as good as Abramovich was in bringing succes to the club he wasn't able to build a sound football structure for the club. Yes we have won titles and cups yes we have a great youth academy. But under Abramovich there was no vision or plan. After the old stars were leaving key stones were in place to rebuild and continue to challenge at the top. We had Courtoius Matic Eden Diego along with experience Terry and Cesc youth promises in KDB Lukaku Salah. We all know what happened. Bad decisions all the way to the end. New ownership comes in under the most unusual of circumstances. Here too fans will to have some patience. The plans of the owners and directors take time to unfold. And yes definitely mistakes were made but also some good decisions. It looks like the club will have a better structure going forward let's see in 5 years where they at. But as a fan yes I want to celebrate success but I don't see how we can close the gap with City in 1 year. For me there is hope because I see we went from no plan at all to having a plan. So when you compare to Bayern City Madrid that's the reason we're behind them lack of structure and smart club management. That has changed now hopefully

Gusto has been very lacking defensively lately, losing mostly all of his individual duals and rarely blocking shots on goal or crosses, I know he gives us something more going forward, but we don't seem to be struggling scoring recently, I suspect Poch will not start him.

Enzo Fernandez has suffered a groin injury, but Pochettino forced him to play with injections, which is highly questionable. He has Andre Santos and Cassadei available, so why force Enzo to play through injury? This is a major reason why I believe Pochettino should be sacked.
Enzo is technically gifted, unlike Gallagher. Even if Cucureilla were to invert with Coicedo and Enzo, the formation would work with a fully fit Enzo. Enzo's ability to scan the field and make precise passes makes him unique. In contrast, Gallagher primarily relies on running and tackling, with simplistic passes lacking football IQ or creativity. Gallagher is a raw player with no standout attributes.
Pochettino should have given more playing time to Cassadei and Santos when Enzo was injured. I dislike this manager because, first, he played Ben Chilwell out of position on the left wing and Levi Cowell at left back, and sometimes even used Disasi at right back when Gusto was available. Chilwell on the left wing particularly frustrated me.
Pochettino's inability to get the best out of Maatsen, Cassadei, and Santos reflects poorly on his managerial skills. He should be sacked
