Stinging nettles contain natural antihistamines, that's why they work for allergies. It's recommended to start drinking nettle tea in February to help with symptoms of hay fever in the summer. (I'm a Medical Herbalist)
Also, another name for Calendula is English Marigold

For Fibromyalgia , for me, Montmorency tart cherry juice ( from concentrate), improved my quality of life.. I do drink about 3 -4 glasses a day during a flare up. Sometimes just one glass for maintenance. I can drink it any part of day, even though I use it to help go into a restorative sleep. Like other nutrients give it time to work, one glass will not give total relief.

I put on my gloves and pick as much as possible while it's young, and dehydrate it!itMy pineapple scrap vinegar is going well, and I'm ready to start another tepache. my husband and I drink stinging Nettle tea every day. We also take Moringa daily. We use raw organic wild flower honey and ginger daily as well.We get our stinging Nettle from Azure Standard. I understand stinging Nettle must be cooked to "deactivate" the stingers on the leaves.

Just an FYI my friend. If you go carnivore, you won't need any of these concoctions, and by the way, they never did anything for me anyway. Maybe for some it works, but not me. I went carnivore, finally dropped all my weight, my inflammatory marker CRP went to rock bottom finally within 2 months, insulin finally going down. The root cause of all disease is Insulin. It produces cancer growth and also feeds it. Get your fasting Insulin and AIC done. Your fasting Insulin should be under 10, and even preferably under 5. A1C of 5.7 is prediabetes, you want to be far away from that number. Glycation happens at 5.7% . I didn't even realize that my "healthy" diet was killing me all these years, I was nearly in a wheelchair. I was on a paleo diet of lots of fruit and vegetables, sweet potatos, plantains and some meat and eggs, a little liver each week. I was grain-free already. Then I found Dr. Berry, and everything he said made sense to me, I followed his guidelines. I couldn't believe the amount of oxalate dumping that began. Just removing vegetables for me was an automatic 15 lb weightloss. They were inflaming me that much. Now I am almost 40 lbs down, and my edema is going away. Dr. Berry said that edema, fatty liver, and increased inflammation is all due to Insulin. The cure? You either go carnivore or like the Insulin King Dr. Bikman says... a 16 hour intermittent fasting of 2 meals per day in combination of controlled carbohydrates preferably under 50 will bring your insulin down. It takes time, insulin is very slow to decrease, but it will go down. I had no idea that my fruit intake was keeping my insulin levels high, I was eating about 3-4 fruits per day which I didn't think was much. Once I cut it down to almost nothing, massive changes, and I am finally healing my thyroid, I have been able to reduce my thyroid hormone by half so far. It's all positive stuff. Join the community and you'll get a ton of support. Dr. Berry does LIVE Q& A every week on Mondays and Fridays, you can ask him anything, he'll guide you. I have saved so much on grocery and life is so much more simple. It's not restrictive at all either, eggs, whole fat dairy and butter, pork, chicken, beef, and seafood, tallow, doesn't get better than that. God bless you.

These are all so amazing! Thank you, Mary. The only one I hadn’t hear about was the last one. But bromalain makes me anaphylactic. Sad, eh? It’s the part of the pineapple that makes it a superfood and it’s liable to kill me. It’s also the part of the pineapple that emits the aroma of the pineapple. I know this because I still suffer three days after a pineapple has been somewhere. 🥺
Thus I only trust my own kitchen.
We also don’t have avocado oil in this house because my mom is anaphylactic to avocado. I almost lost her once and I don’t want to come that close for a long time to come. She’s 9 years younger than her mom. So I’m counting on that. But my Nana had a stoke at 89. I intend to leave that affliction out of my mom’s suffering also.

Thanks. I have some tumeric that i bought for cooking but i dont use it very much as i find it bitter. Youve given me inspiration on useful ways i can use it.
I didnt know you were supposed to mix it with a fat, so ive been using it wrong this whole time. I shouod be adding it at the beginning when i mix the flour and butter together rather than after.
I was treating it as a spice you toast like cinnimon.
I once bought tuneric honey that i absolutely loved but i could never find it adter. I used it in a lot of tea. Now i have a better idea how to properly nake that kind of tea.

You could, not sure how great it would taste. Doesn't hurt to try. I use it in regular cooking all the time. It's really good in soups. You could pretty much put it in just about anything savory you cook though.

I wish I could make these ferments. I cannot have carbonation/sparkling drinks. Does anyone know how”fizzy” they are? Can I let it go “flat”?

I just bought some water kefir grains from Florida sun kefir from Amazon. They've worked great, been making it as much as possible for the past month.

There is no point in discussing w your doctor. They know nothing of nutrition. Moreover, they tend to dismiss the power of nutrition to heal.

I like you very much, Mary, but you are not a doctor or even a herbalist. When you recommend some things, like Stinging Nettle has a number of 'contraindications' -- such as pregnant women should not take and such as Stinging Nettle can cause problems with diabetics. And that's not all. People need to do research before drinking this tea.

I understand completely. In my videos on these subjects, I always state that I am not a medical professional of any kind and that is why I provide lots of research in my accompanying blog post: marysnest.com/5-most-surprising-anti-inflammatory-drinks/ And I also always provide a disclaimer about talking with your medical professional before using any herbs, etc. Hope this helps. Love, Mary

@@MarysNest It doesn't. Because most viewers aren't going to do their own research, and they aren't going to talk to their doctors. Not to mention that the vast majority of MDs, PAs, and CNPS don't know anything about herbs, teas, etc. As I said, I love you and what you do -- and I really do -- but not in instances like this one.

@@FrancesRobinson-yn2ks everyone has to make their own choice to do their research and not hold a UA-camr responsible for their lack of research for themselves.
