Right after I commented in your other Rata Blanca video (La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago) recommending you this song, I realized that you had already reacted to it. So here I am, enjoying your great video and getting my memories back to my childhood. Thanks for your videos. Regards. Esteban
Saludos.
Live your reactions Alez...thats song from when i age of school...could you imagine how magic was travel on bus to school on 90's then hear that song last night ? and still that guys " Rata Blanca " still continues playing your music as hell today !!!
It's really nice to see people reacting to the music AND the lyrics. Most people that don't speak spanish only react to the music, so it's refreshing to see someone react 100% for the first time to a song that's been in our lifes since... forever. Suscribing. Hope to see you react to more Argentinian music. Have you done "Balada del diablo y la muerte" by "La Renga" yet?
Hey Alex, I’m from Colombia, amazing videos, we love rata blanca and i think that if you like rata blanca you should listed kraken, in special “lenguaje de mi piel “ and “vestido de cristal” im pretty sure you’re gonna loved. Big hug bro
Hello Alex! I can suggest you this Rata Blanca list songs. It is chronologically sorted. But these are mostly ballads: 1988 . El Sueño de la Gitana . Otoño Medieval (Intrumental) . Solo para Amarte . Preludio Obsesivo ( Instrumental) 1990 . Días Duros . El Beso de la Bruja . Por qué es tan difícil Amar (Instrumental) 1991 . Nada es Fácil sin tu Amor . Noche sin Sueños . Abrazando el Rock n Roll 1993 . Asesinos 1994 . Sin tu Amor Nada Existe . Fantasma Azul 1997 . Ella . Líbranos del Mal (Instrumental) . La Canción del Sol . La Caja 2002 . Volviendo a Casa . Cuando la Luz Oscurece 2005 . Aún estás en mis Sueños . Mamma 2008 . El Reino Olvidado . Talismán . Madre Tierra (Instrumental) . Un Día más, Un Día menos . Cuando Hoy es Ayer 2015 . Tan Lejos de Aquel Sueño . El Jugador . Pequeño Angel Oscuro
Alex, you mention it earlier and Rata Blanca has a cd in english with Doogie White of Malmsteen, you should listen it if you like. Great reactions. Greetings from Argentina.
Yeah, these guys really are great live, I watched them when they came to Guatemala for the first time and I was blown away when each one of them performed a solo, it was jaw dropping, all of them are masters, each on his own instrument so I still have that great memory. BTW I'd like to introduce you a very underrated band, at least in America (continent) and the reason is because they weren't played much on the radio and just one video and that was it and they are SANGRE AZUL, they are to me one of the greatest spanish bands and their image is all American (USA) glam metal, with big hair, clothing and riffs and amazing solos and vocals also, please react to "Mil y Una Noches", other suggestions "Cuerpo a Cuerpo" and "Obsesion" I'm telling you guy you'll be amazed how their sound is all glam. Greetings from Guatemala.
They are still going strong, there were 4 singers on this band. Rata Blanca has many musical gems. In 1992 they played with an orchestra live, which was unseen at the time, at least in Argentina.
So cool to see you react to our music! Argentina has the best rock bands! Most of them are (sadly) very underrated, but anyway! It makes me happy to see you like it! Hopefully we'll get the recognition we deserve someday. Greetings from Arg, Buenos Aires!
The amazing thing about this band in our country (Argentina) is that they bring metal, heavy metal, to all the people. There are other great metal bands in Argentina, but Rata Blanca is known to everyone, this song is known and even liked to listeners of reggaeton, folklore and tropical music. They transcend the barriers of musical genres.
Hello there! Rata Blanca is still active yes, its singer Adrían Barilary also has his solo records/career. They stopped playing together for a couple of years 1997/2000, but you can pretty much say they have been active since 1985 to the date because it was a really short period of time. They were on a world tour on 2020 but for obvious reasons it got cancelled! But yeah, they are still together and even playing live! this is their discography: 1988: Rata Blanca 1990: Magos, Espadas y Rosas 1991: Guerrero del Arco Iris 1993: El Libro Oculto (EP) 1994: Entre el Cielo y el Infierno 1997: Rata Blanca VII 2002: El Camino del Fuego 2005: La Llave de la Puerta Secreta 2008: El Reino Olvidado 2009: The Forgotten Kingdom (this is an English version of 2008's "El Reino Olvidado", but here they hire an Irish singer called "Doogie White" who adapted and sang the lyrics for the English version) 2015: Tormenta Eléctrica
Adrian Barilari's voice is amazing. I heard him sing Nessum Dorma in a video dedicated to medical health personnel in this time of a pandemic. Beautiful voice! Greetings from Argentina
I send you my best regards Alex from S.L.P. México!!! Keep going with your videos.
The lead guitar is called Walter Giardino, he's the one that writes most of the lirics and songs, he and Adrian Barilari are the leaders of the band, in almost every (if not all) of the Rata Blanca's songs there is a guitar solo, Giardino is one of the best guitar players in argentina, he always was and always will be.
Great reaction. The band is still in active with some modification in his staff but Giardino (Guitar) and Badilari (Voice) are stil there. Greetings from Argentina.
There was a TV show in Argentina called "Encuentro en el estudio" and in an episode they invited Rata Blanca to play their most famous songs. The full episode is here in UA-cam, you can find it if you want.
Your spanish is incredible! This band is one of the biggest in Latin America, and this song along with "La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago" are their 2 legendary biggest hits. I suggest also "Solo para Amarte", it's with a different vocalist who was only for the 1st album, but the song is killer They are active, in fact I saw them live last year, before the whole pandemic thing took over
Men, you're amazing. I love your reaction. The phrase "corazón sin Dios, dame un lugar" is one of the most beautiful that has been written for rock in Spanish, and I'm glad you noticed it. This is one of those songs that in Argentina are heard by many people, regardless of the musical genre they prefer.
This song brings so many memorable moments with my ex boyfriend he was always singing it to me😌... and to think that this song wasn't going to be in this album ang got to be the biggest hit.

First I wanted to tell you that you don't have to ask for forgiveness for the quality of the video, we know it's many years ago. And secondly, it gives us all the same feeling of tranquility and peace that transmits the voice and the guitar on the solo. Gracias por apreciar nuestra musica argentina!! Muchos cariños

The singer's voice was beautiful and fit perfectly with the music. I'll have to look up the lyrics. But musically the song was really good.
