@@prettyromanticmusic Exactly my point. The Secret Handshake was doing this 10 years ago with songs like Pictures and Too Young off his album One Full Year. He and The Postal Service influenced a ton of artists in the emo/electronic genre.
Really good instrumental and flow of the song, but rather unimpressive lyrics ^^' Not the theme itself, just the literal lyrics haha.. Could've done a much better job.
@@gracekrzykalski1314 Again, it's not what he's saying but how he says it. Way oversimplified and not very creative. Sadly, I relate too much to this kind of stuff, but once again, the theme isn't what bothers me but how simplistic and uncreatively it was conveyed.
What in the hell did I just listen to.. 😅 Was that a breakdown over a boom clap? I'm so lost. According to the comments, luckily I don't usually listen to lyrics as well.

Good song, even though I was expecting some heavy strong drums after the slow start. I kept waiting for that kinda part but waited until the entire song was just slow without some little speed and heaviness. Hard to explain it but yeah, didn't meet my entire expectations... OK song though.
Shits just kind of boring. Idk like it sounds obviously fine, but it isn’t anything that special it sounds about the same as any other SoundCloud person who is influenced by peep. There’s plenty of other artists out there that bring more to the table, but I hope this dude improves I mean he got signed for a reason so hopefully he glows up and gets a little bit better at writing and comes up with better ideas musically than just copy and paste songs from a SoundCloud starter pack lol
Everything about this is terrible but its cool that you got a deal, grow from this sound, pleeeeeease lol. Pop Punk lil peep doesn’t sound like a good associating name. Does it?

You left a toxic relationship and signed to a record label 👏 gotta rap about that
"Down and out fell out of love. Down and out fell into drugs " Goddamn I felt that shit.
SO EXCITED FOR THE ALBUM LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
I already know I'm gonna listen to this a lot
when you dont know the artist but got notified so you click anyway
Matey Mist same and I enjoyed it!
Same and what a song it is
Lol, it's exactly what I did.
Been a big fan of you since you signed onto the label. Loving the guitar heavy vibes on the track. 16th August can't come quicker!
All these new emo/electronic/r&b artists should call up *The Secret Handshake* and thank him
PlayRadioPlay
why? This style been around for 3 years now. Maybe 4 for real. It started on SoundCloud.

Just looked them up, yeah they've been doing this since 2010 or so. Not bad either.
Lyrical collaboration with dr.seuss apparently.

I'll be honest: not his best song, I think he can do it so much better. But it's still enjoyable.

I like the part when he rhymed fucked up with fucked up with fucked up with fucked up. Innovative stuff here.
How did he get signed?
Who made the beat?
Imagine a partnership with Travis Barker?
Blink goes mumble rap.
It seems you have grossly misunderstood mumble rap
@@ionfwmilo2835 Oh gee have I? Please inform me more about your dying 'Lil' genre...
But I guess it'll die in designer. GUCCIE GUCI GUCIE SKKRRRRA!!!

Heh
Why care? It's just lyrics. You came to the wrong place for poetry.
Phillip McLeod lyrics matter in music dude

The mix for this is so bad. Why are his vocals so loud and clean on a emo rap song?
If those lyrics just had some substance, this would be a great song. Missed chance.
This is terrible.
Cringe
Literally I dont care
I thought this was some lame overrated joke rapper
And i was right so now I'm just bored
Being right takes the fun away
i dunno why everyone hates designer lol. music doesnt have to be deep to be good, this is catchy edgy bs and thats all u need sometimes
