- In this video, I show you all of my current protective/safety riding gear.

NOTE:
At the 35:40 timestamp, I talk about a flap that fastens in front of the zipper. I said I would revisit that topic later in the video, but I totally forgot to revisit it. What I forgot to say in the video is that the last two jackets that I show DO NOT have a flap which fastens either above or in front of the zipper. This causes a problem when you're travelling at 30+ miles per hour, as the zipper tends to slap both the front of your neck and the front of the helmet. It's painful and loud. A salesman at my local dealership gave me a solution. He told me, "Luke, just don't zip the jacket all the way up". I tried his solution, and it actually works! Now when I wear a jacket that lacks a fastener for the zipper, I always leave the zipper at least 2 inches from the top of the jacket. All I know is that I'll make sure that all of my future jacket will have fasteners for their zippers.

@@BlackMaleASMR of course! Thank you for stickin with the community for so long! I had the same egnator amp around the same time you did. Also got rid of it within about a year. Went back to good old 5150 lol. If you’re still doing music you should do some asmr content about it!
The 5150! That thing is amazing. I've never owned one, but I've tried a few of them out and I've seen a lot of professionals use it in concert. I am still doing music too, but it's rough. I tried to make a couple of singing videos a few months ago, but they didn't work out.
@@BlackMaleASMR they are super nice. I still do music but switched to dubstep/edm due to age making guitar playing painful. Plus after 2 decades of playing/writing/recording and producing metal I was finding it hard to come up with ideas that excited me anymore. Glad you are still at least doing some music stuff.

@@BlackMaleASMR what headphones are you rocking these days? Been looking for some new ones for a trip I have soon. I know you're a Bose guy. Usually hear those, Sony, or Sennheiser recommended for wireless and ANC. I have a pair of old Beyer dynamics that have been great but my smartphone can't drive it unfortunately
I have the Bose QuietComfort 45 Noise Cancelling Smart Headphones. I bought them back on March 05, 2017, and I've had no issues with them. They're the best set of headphones I've ever owned in my entire life. Even after all of these years, the battery life still lasts all day long. The only thing I have to do is replace the ear cushions about once or twice per year.

Yeah, man. When I first started riding, I was not aware of how expensive the riding gear would be. I think I've spent almost $5,000 on gear so far, and I still haven't even purchased riding pants yet :O In this hobby, you really do get what you pay for.

Thanks, man! That old apartment was really nice at first, but I decided to leave it after a few years because it started falling apart and the landlords kept drastically increasing the rent for no reason. I'm so glad I left that place. Thanks for supporting me for all of this time :)
