Vejo muitos jovens hoje comparando Estêvão, que é um moleque muito bom, ao Neymar. Óbvio, nestes lances neymar já era mais velho que ele hoje. Mas, não dá pra comparar. Neymar é extraclasse, daqueles que surgem raramente. Ele mudava de direção muito rápido, finalizava bem, controle de bola absurdo, visão de jogo, repertório de dribles amplo.
O problema do Neymar eram 3: PRIMEIRO: O clube dele era uma várzea sem planejamento assim como o Flamengo, Vasco, Palmeiras, Fluminense eram nessa época. Aí nunca deu pra montar um elenco com planejamento sério pra ajudar o Neymar. Por exemplo, o Robinho voltou pro exterior nessa época (2010), podiam muito bem ter feito um contrato pra ele ficar e montarem um time em torno do Neymar pra potencializar ele no ataque, o que nos leva pro 2° problema. SEGUNDO: O Neymar voltava muito pro meio de campo, gastando muita energia fazendo o playmarker e o de atacante ao mesmo tempo. Se houvesse um plano de jogo pra ativar o Neymar em momentos decisivos pra ele fazer menos esforco enquanto outros jogadores faria a criação de jogadas e marcação pressão acho que ele ultrapassaria os 1 gol por partida já nessa idade. TERCEIRO Neymar não tinha essa visão, nem ninguém perto e o Neymar ficou grandão demais. Olhando pros melhores momentos do vídeo percebo que ele podia ser bem mais direto e tático sem ferir sua plasticidade. Seria mais que perfeito. Sinceramente espero que o Estevão fique no Palmeiras até o fim de 2025 pelo menos, acho que ele deve tentar emular um pouco do que o Neymar fez aqui no Brasil.

Yeah, always look at how far the player gets and how dangerous it becomes, after they start a dribble. Neymar has some pre-prepared tricks from training, but a lot of these dribbles end up in the same place, as they start out. Compare it to Messi at that age and notice how effecient and dangerous his dribbles are in comparison.
That is why I'd pick Paul Scholes (and I'm FAR from being a fan of Utd) over any other player as my first fantasy football pick. He didn't have to beat players, he could just pass the ball past whoever he wanted and time the delivery perfect to whoever he wanted. Some say his feet had their own GPS system...

I never wanted him to come back to Brazil too young, like Robinho, Adriano, R10. But if he was going to end up at Al Hilal and after 6 seasons in PSG, I kinda wanted him back and finally wearing Pelé's number 10 at Santos. Because at least would reinforce him as a Idol there and he would enjoy himself. Because the club he played more time in his career is the club he ended up having least identity 😢 and feels like such a waste of time. Óbvio, nestes lances neymar já era mais velho que ele hoje. Mas, não dá pra comparar. Neymar é extraclasse, daqueles que surgem raramente.
Ele mudava de direção muito rápido, finalizava bem, controle de bola absurdo, visão de jogo, repertório de dribles amplo.
O problema do Neymar eram 3:
PRIMEIRO:
O clube dele era uma várzea sem planejamento assim como o Flamengo, Vasco, Palmeiras, Fluminense eram nessa época. Aí nunca deu pra montar um elenco com planejamento sério pra ajudar o Neymar. Por exemplo, o Robinho voltou pro exterior nessa época (2010), podiam muito bem ter feito um contrato pra ele ficar e montarem um time em torno do Neymar pra potencializar ele no ataque, o que nos leva pro 2° problema.
SEGUNDO:
O Neymar voltava muito pro meio de campo, gastando muita energia fazendo o playmarker e o de atacante ao mesmo tempo. Se houvesse um plano de jogo pra ativar o Neymar em momentos decisivos pra ele fazer menos esforco enquanto outros jogadores faria a criação de jogadas e marcação pressão acho que ele ultrapassaria os 1 gol por partida já nessa idade.
TERCEIRO
Neymar não tinha essa visão, nem ninguém perto e o Neymar ficou grandão demais. Olhando pros melhores momentos do vídeo percebo que ele podia ser bem mais direto e tático sem ferir sua plasticidade. Seria mais que perfeito.
Sinceramente espero que o Estevão fique no Palmeiras até o fim de 2025 pelo menos, acho que ele deve tentar emular um pouco do que o Neymar fez aqui no Brasil.

Tell me a player with richer skills repertoire🤩 and that's only one year of his career💀. He aligned his idols (R9, R10, Robinho, Garrincha, Pelé) moves and his own skills together and kept "Joga Bonito" alive for 10 years🇧🇷👌🏽❤. And I love him (as a player) for that. Even though I wanted him to take his career with more care (but is his decision). He plays for football joy and never changed the style. Some are happy with that (being rich doing what you love) instead of winning it all

After watching the Beckham documentary, I'm becoming convinced that being able to dribble and do all those twiddly bits don't do much if you wear yourself out, beat only one player and then knock a pass or cross in that doesn't reach the target or generate a goal
Yeah, always look at how far the player gets and how dangerous it becomes, after they start a dribble. Neymar has some pre-prepared tricks from training, but a lot of these dribbles end up in the same place, as they start out. Compare it to Messi at that age and notice how effecient and dangerous his dribbles are in comparison.
That is why I'd pick Paul Scholes (and I'm FAR from being a fan of Utd) over any other player as my first fantasy football pick. He didn't have to beat players, he could just pass the ball past whoever he wanted and time the delivery perfect to whoever he wanted.
