This video is why I love climbing. Your face and reactions when you were climbing that V4 was just pure happiness and excitement. That feeling of grabbing a hold that's been giving you problems, and progressing to a new level is an amazing feeling. Rockentry's reaction and excitement for you is incredible. Whoa the timing is nuts! I've been projecting Gomer Pile and was going to try knocking it out this weekend! The Crack took me 2 sessions, and I saw a lot of people trying Rockentry's beta. I felt like his beta for the first few moves was harder than using a right heel hook on the starting side pull, so we have totally different ways of getting up to the second left hand hold. After that tho, I tried his beta for the big dynamic move and it was a total game changer 👌 Sick video! Digging the collab!

When you mentioned in Vertical Thoughts or the Monopkt interview about climbing films needing to be more about things other than man vs rock/self, this feels like that! About the climbing process with a friend!

If you send it within one or two sessions, it’s not a project. A project is usually more long term than that, like more than 3 sessions. I’m pretty sure you could project in the V5-V6 range.
imtired lots of synergy indeed!! i definitely get scared if the fall zone is wonky. otherwise, so long as there are enough pads, i’m only a LIL more scared than i would be inside :-) if i’m freaking out, i’ll yell “SPOT PLEASE SPOT PLEASE” and hopefully someone will come running to spot me :-)
Joshua Lee i pretty much just used mountain project! it’s pretty good for stoney, and the area is small enough that it’s not hard to find what you’re looking for. plus, there’s good cell service so you can use the internet to find the things! :-D
