As a 50 year old electric front susspension short wheelbase rear hub motor recumbent rider, im glad to see another older perhaps wiser guy also ruding in the comfort of a lawnchair instead of grinding our prostates into oblivion. Nice recimbent, mine is based of a vision r-40 with front suspension and front and rear disk. You inspired me, ive got to get on my bike more and ride further more often!
Yes, you should! :) The hardest part is just leaving. As I see it, an electric recumbent is the best of both worlds. The only thing you can possibly do to make the ride even more comfortable is to ride barefoot, which I do. Kevin and I averaged 60 daily miles and planned the next day's destination and route, the night before. Somehow it all worked out and eventually (two months), we reached the Pacific. Now the challenge is to get out there and have another adventure.
