[Playtime With Percy] Parasitic Pals (Boss 10/20) Complete

Current Position on Maxmodelist: #96 (lots of things got added recently)
Not busy anymore for now so I had time to do another maxmode! This was a really good maxmode from a really good fangame and I'm glad I did this one. Although I'm very weak with endurance type stuff (on average this mode is 11 and a half minutes jeez) this maxmode became actually pretty consistent eventually, once you learn how to do the gp loop it's more of a "how many times can I do this cycle" so it's a consistency endurance challenge. Eventually I would get to 3/5 charges fairly often (and somehow never died to charge 4/5 despite dying to charge 5/5 twice). I don't really have any complaints for this mode it's very fair and it only took me a few days so yay!
imo difficulty of characters goes (hardest to easiest)
TamaLanki, Poodles, Pal, Truman, TamaBruti, TamaRoachi, TamaOpti, Polly Possum
TamaLanki: Kills you if your tamagotchi (E.MPal) task pace is too slow or if you run out of time on your charge. I initially struggled with lanki a lot until I discovered that you can do the maze and match 3 tasks back to back twice in a row after finishing the fishing one (that one takes forever so you want to do that one as little as possible). Tamalanki is still pretty brutal due to needing to play at THEIR pace and the main reason why this challenge was very dificult early on by far. Becomes manageable at later stages of play and goes away after charge 5 making it so that you can play at whatever pace you want, needing to do 1/2 of the things lol. they're my bbg tho I love tamalanki
Poodles: I only have them at 2nd because of the camera poodle (Tat), you have to find them in the cams and if you dont he makes it so that you can no longer push the cart on either sides of the room. I ended up dying to TamaBruti a few times because I couldn't find time to look for Tat in the camera. Searching for them also takes up quite a lot of time in the cameras, and Tat can create a lot of order of operations struggles I found. The other two create general struggles as well as the poodle you knock out with the Cart (Tim my goat) messes up your E.MPal inputs and also makes switching cameras not work properly, and the TV poodle (tot) you need to get rid of in order to be able to lock the door for Pal.
Pal: Has 3 different ways to attack. Pal's cup game is very easy to die to if youre not paying attention or thinking about something else, like for example if you're losing pace for tamalanki, and the find the item one also takes a while on cams. Pal quickly becomes problematic if he's offset from TamaOpti and Tat and he keeps requesting items to find. For his door attack just remember that he bangs 6 times & get rid of Tot on the TVs
Truman: Get rid of their ads on whatever screen they appear on (funny bird). Not very difficult on their own but in some situations their weirdly small-ish kill timer can sneakily kill you when you're trying to deal with something that may seem more threatening at the time
TamaBruti: Only really difficult due to their relation with Tat, but also sometimes creates some awkward scenarios like for instance if you need to deal with Pal's item and/or Tat and Bruti starts banging
TamaRoachi: usually not bad but it's sort of vague when they can kill you and it's REALLY easy to not worry about them when you're trying to catch up with things in the cameras so I actually ended up dying to roachi on one of my 5/5 charge deaths (and yes it scared the shit out of me because it was on an 11 minute run and dying to tamaroachi always scares the shit out of me due to it being unexpected)
TamaOpti: Find them in the camera and shock them when they make this loud crash noise. Initially had them way higher but although they're pretty high on the priority list, they're not actually that bad, mainly due to usually needing to deal with Tat and Pal anyway
Polly Possum: Just don't have your tamagotchi or camera up when she springs down with the wuaaahahahaha. She is VERY lenient and at worst she only makes some scenarios where you have to quickly deal with whatever's in the cameras (or truman) quicker. Also does not help if you're already behind pace
Idk if this is like unpopular or a bad opinion but even though this is only 2 spots lower than jolly 3 ch1 8/20 I think this is like SOLIDLY easier than it. maybe that mode is underrated (or just bad) but j3ch1 8/20 took me more than 3 times longer to beat than this did so idk

Personal Rating: idk it feels more than slightly easier than jolly 3 ch 1 8/20 but thats probably because this mode isnt rng and dogshit
