  • In this video, we visited Iconic Pointe Orlando located on International Drive in Orlando Florida. It is a very popular tourist area surrounded by Bars, Restaurants, Museums and other tourtist activities. We visited Tavern Opa to try their Greek Gryo, Cuba Libre to try their Cuban Sandwich, The Pub to try their Fish Sandwich, and Jo Jo's to try their Ice Cream Bars.

Looove I-Drive! Try Hidden Sushi, its all u can eat sushi off a menu that u order from and is hidden in a plaza. Also try Saltgrass for steaks. We went there and steak was pretty good but a little too salty hence the name. And try Uncle Julios for mexican. Ive seen reviews of tourist really liking the food but we went there and it was super mid. Keep the great Orlando food vlogs coming!! 👍👍

@@HungryPolarBear it’s a cheese dish, and at opa it’s the flammable dish that’s featured in your video…. I’am not a big cheese eater but Saganaki is the best. And the nice thing is, every Greek restaurant, wherever you go has their own version of it….

I'm a Brit living in Florida - The Pub is kinda close to what I would have back home but still a wee bit watered down for broader appeal though they have a few legit dishes like the Scotch Eggs and Fish and Chips (they have the correct type of chips, so many places just go with french fries aggh!) - probably the only place that gets closer is the Fish and Chip stall in Epcot's UK pavillion.
The closest I found to home was Best of British Pub in Davernport - they import actual British supplies for their meals. Mind it's def not fancy - but one of the few places around here where I can get a proper Sausage roll, a British breakfast using the *correct* type of bacon , baked beans and sausages rather than just subbing the american sort and calling it a day.

Hi! I tried the Fish and Chips Stall at Epcot and thought it was bland, but someone told me I was supposed to add Salt and Malt Vinegar to it myself? Is that true? Because the Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips spot in Icon Park was also bland to me. The Fish Sandwich from the Pub was the only was that was well seasoned for me. I'm going to add Best of British Pub to my list! Thanks for the recommendation! 🔥🐻‍❄️

Yes! British chips really need a tangy companion to help that fried flavor come thru. That's why you need lots of salt and malt vinegar (and maybe some ketchup and a pickled onion on the side) - a squeeze of lemon on the fish and chips helps too. British chips also love mild curry sauce or being paired with sweet and sour chicken.
I will say British food is a bit light on the seasoning generally. We'll herb and season meat but otherwise we tend to rely on sauces and vinegar to help out the sides.

@@RebeccaGunn ah okay, interesting, I'll have to try Fish and Chips again when I visit Best of British Pub. Thanks again for the recommendation!

I always wanted to try food at The Pub but I usually get the fish-n-chips at the Gordon Ramsey place at ICON Park

So Kava tacos is probably the newest edition and they have a fire dancer show which is wild. The food is really good from what we tried. Drinks are solid. I absolutely loved the anejo old fashioned. The birria tacos is the dish to try. We went on grand opening day. I’d like to go back and see if they made any changes and how it’s doing. I do a lot on Google maps. Just started making my own content.
