This is absolutely awesome. True class all of them. I use to listen to the Jack Benny show as a teenager in the early 80’s. Just loved him. George too.
When George Burns was in his 90's he was asked ... "Why are you always seen with young ladies on your arm?" .. to which he replied with a grin .. "I like em when the skin still fits." Still an 'ol rascal ! 😂
Great comedians. All of them were totally unique. Nobody else like Benny, Burns or the Smothers Brothers. Now all you gotta do is say WTF? and you get laughs. And they are all pretty much the same.
Actually, "Who Taught Her Everything She Knows" is from the musical, Funny Girl. As it wasn't used in the film version, the song is not as well known today.
For anyone wondering, Jack Benny is just 2 years younger than George Burns as he was born in 1894 and George in 1896. Though since Jack clearly uses hair coloring to make himself look younger than he really is.
@@jerrilynhenson9024 Oops, Your’e right. It seems I got their birthdates reversed but nonetheless the age difference isn’t as great as Jack Benny’s hair dye job might have you believe.
11 comments? Jesus. The Smothers Brothers with Jack Benny and George Burns? American entertainment
Legends.
Were a dying breed brother. If i mention there guys to my employees. It goes over 2 generations of employees.😂
Love the Smothers Brothers, but it’s real nice to see Jack Benny and George Burns again!
When comedy was KING! RIP Jack, George, and Tom.
Jack Benny as Tommy was absolutely delightful! And then to watch all 4 of them riff together was something really special.
You're watching history. the best of the best.
Gotta admit, this was just pure gold.
Jack nailed it with his impersonation of Tom .
If today's shows were only half this good.
this is easily in the top ten of funniest things I have ever seen. bravo to legends.
Thanks, UA-cam, for these fantastic videos.
RIP Tommy.
Jack didn't do impersonations often, but when he did he really nailed them.
George Burns and Jack Benny glaring at each other as guests on someone else's show? Another reasons why the Smothers Brothers was a brilliant show.
Smiles and chuckles abound watching these four
give a master class in comedy.
Absolutely wonderful. At 72 it brings back good memories.
Greatest straight man and comedian ever! Jack and George...
Loved watching them all riff against each other. Classic comedy.
Given that Steve Martin was a writer on the show, this bit feels like a clinic for his future work with Martin Short.
RIP, Tommy. Oh how we love you.
I love this comedy and love the delivery by fine comedians.
Lol maybe the funniest performance ive seen from each of them. I can understand their presence now.
So much talent, so much history, so much funny!
This brought back so many memories. I loved all four of these men.

The best comedians this country has ever seen.
❤ Smothers Brothers RIP Tommy 🙏

four of my favorite entertainers....
Yay! Hope you enjoyed it.

People are so dumbed down now, this kind of brilliance is over their heads.
Now THAT is a stage full of great!
Thank you so much!

Television was in its infancy and so were we.
Classic😂❤

If Jack was born in 1984 and George in 1896, that makes Jack two years OLDER than George. Not younger. Maybe you mixed up the years?

This is so cool
A true bonding of comedic generations in this poignant clip. Damn......I'm old.
Great
Just wow, with a bit of envy.
Where Tommy's violin? Nice of George and -Gracey- Jack to have the Smothers Bros on their show.
Back when actors were adults.
People now wouldnt know talent if it was in the shower with them. RIP Tom.
❤️❤️❤️
What year was this?
I think George should have been Tommy and actually nevermind
Date???
Haha
Were Jack and George comedians? It’s difficult to tell.
Its so strange now to see someone smoking on stage.
Corny. But entertaining.
Awww... Tommy, thanks give the fellas our love
