I'm planning a trip to Thailand, especially Chiang Mai and Krabi and just discovered your vlogs. I really enjoyed watching your videos and theses places are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the beautiful videos, especially without the annoying youtuber in your face babbling about how little they know. Your videos are my little zen place after work, best to you.
We're in Krabi right now!!! Such a beautiful city. But you have to be aware and look at the weather and season before going. It can be cloudy and rainning for days if you go during that time.
Fantastic ! Love the exellent camera work and well, just about everything in this . A lot of work goes into these super vlogs. . What a talent you have ! Thank you.
Wow Riri, how beautiful you show Krabi, Aonang, Koh Lanta. All favorites of ours from more than 20 years ago... So happy to see how they have come along and how you frame and enjoy those beautiful peaceful places; Your work is a treasure. Thank you and I will continue with all your other videos ;o) 💗
Thank you for the beautiful journey! One note though: I think that if you dare to change the subtitles with speaker narrative this will rise the level of the production by far! Even if it is not fluent it will add charm and a human touch and the story... just try it :)
Love your content Riri and really appreciate all the details that you add to your vlogs and all the different spots you include. I’m planning a 3 week trip with my young teen boys and have a few questions if you could please answer: 1) Why did you skip Raleigh Beach? I thought it’s one of the go to spots when in Krabi? 2) If I were to decide between Hong Island and 4 Island tour- which one would you recommend? Or should we do both? 3) Would you recommend us visiting Koh Lanta and should we spend a night there or just do a day trip considering my boys would probably get bored ( ages 14 and 12). Would really appreciate it if you could share your recommendations. Thank you
Thank you! I was supposed to go to Railay beach during the 4 island tour, but apparently it was really busy that day so they gave us the option to re-route to a quieter area. To be honest with you, once you get to 3-4 islands they start to look the same. Hong Island was much bigger and there's 2 areas where you can hike including the 360 platform which was in the video, and there's a beach area to swim and snorkel. If you and your boys like hiking then I would recommend Hong over the 4 islands, the Hong Lagoon was pretty cool too and you can kayak/snorkel there. I don't think you can go wrong with either option, just your preference really. 4 island is quicker to get to. Koh Lanta has quite a backpackers vibe to me, it's not as 'pretty' as the other islands but definitely much slower paced and more chilled out. I just cafe-hopped and did work there so maybe they would be bored. Depends what they like doing! It's a hard question as I don't really know what you like to do on holiday, but I hope my comment helps abit :)
@ thank you sooooo much for your response and candor. I am grateful for you taking the time and addressing all my questions- I really appreciate it as it clarifies a lot. I wish you all the best and cannot wait for your next vlogs🙏🏼🙏🏼
The video is very good, thank you very much! At the 19th minute, when they go to the hidden cafe in the forest, which road is the cool palm tree-lined road?
Riri, your videos are exceptional, and very meditative! Thank you for such a unique take on travel vlogging! You have a gift! Please can you tell me where you got your hat, or what brand it is as I am fair skinned and blonde and I love the face coverage and rounded top is more esthetic than a flat topped sunhat. Thank you! Elisa (sorry I’m on my hubby’s account).
@@CoreyTube2012 Hi Elisa! Thank you so much for leaving me such a lovely comment. I got the hat from a brand called Solbari, specifically the one called “Holiday Sun Hat UPF 50+” Here’s a link to their website www.solbari.com/ I think they sell on Amazon in certain locations too. I love the hat and I wear it all the time!
hi riri, what time of the year did you go? i am leaving in a week from today to Krabi, and on the fence about just pulling the plug and getting a partial refund for my airfare. the weather reports say it is going to be raining every day, i am concerned we will be trapped in our hotel room every day.
@@triciaherrera211 I went on the 18th October, I can only share my experience - it was predicted to be raining the whole time too but most days turned out to be just cloudy, and if it does rain it didn’t last very long

I’m supposed to be heading there on Monday, but the forecast hasn’t been looking good. How is the rain? Is it as bad as it seems?
