Jimmy Fratianno extortion phone call

LAPD wiretap from August 9th 1953:
Los Angeles captain Aladena Fratianno threatens oilman Carl Riddell over his company’s failure to pay out money owed to Fratianno and his affiliates Dominic Raspona & James B. Modica.
He had been warned by family boss Jack Dragna not to make threats over the phone. Fratianno was convicted of extortion in 1954 and demoted from his position in 1956 by Frank DeSimone.
