I like Skinpotion products accept for cookie butter, but I agree there is some room for improvement with their customer service. For example, before when their restocks were more scare and far/few in between, I wrote on their IG page to ask when the next restock would be and explained that I never got a notification for restocks even after signing up for notifications on their website. Ray just kept telling me to sign up for their notifications on their site so I could be notified while ignoring the fact that I said I already did that and it wasn’t working. After going back and forth through several message exchanges, Ray finally said they restock every other Friday. I was like so why you couldn’t just say that to begin with instead of giving me the run around!
KSC, Alma and Yummie are my favorite in the line. I had to whip my Alma body butter because it was separated and had little balls in it. But the shower gel and lotion are amazing. FYI - Valaya is coming out with a shower gel/lotion so stay tuned 💕💕💕

I only order the body butter in the fall/ winter seasons now because I live in Louisiana. The first time I ordered was in the summer and it arrived melted. I put it in the fridge and it was fine.
Same happened to mine in this TX heat. I was really glad when I was home the day that Alma Divina arrived so it didn't sit outside and cook in the heat. They ended up delivering Yummie in the evening so that was a plus too. I thoroughly enjoy my products from Skinpotion.
I love Skinpotions body butters but I prefer the formula in the old tin containers than the ones in the new plastic container. I think the scent is stronger in the old containers as well. My Veil of Venus wasn’t separated like your Alma Divina but it’s runny and not solid like the other butters I have, so I have to keep it in the fridge. When you order again, try the scent Aphrodisiac. It’s so good for fall/winter and one of my top 3 scents from them.
I love Alma divina and Kama sutra Crystal! I wore karma sutra crystal and delina la rosee to my cousins wedding! I have the yummie body oil and it is a vanilla dream! I’ll try getting the body butter next.
Yeah, that happened with my Alma Davina, so i stuck it in my freezer for 2 days before it formed. Now, it smells fantastic. Kama Sutra oil makes me nauseous, just like original Delina. Crystal lotion is better on me. Yes, to supporting small businesses ❤
I agree I enjoy Karma Sutra Crystal more but my experience with the Original was marred, by the heat of summer melting my Karma Sutra body butter. It was literally an oil when I got my package I put it in the fridge but the heat got to it bad.
I bought the Yummie body oil as my first purchase from Skin Potion. It smells good but I’m not really impressed with the quality of the product for the price. I’ve heard the body butters are better.
Alma Davina isn't for me. You described it how it smells to me. Also, i got the lotion and my pump came broken off the bottle. I sent photos and they treated me like i was asking for a handout...lol. Said they would send me a pump but i never received it. It's been 2 months 😊
See that's where I draw the line in the customer experience my situation was out of their control but when things are broken they should replace it especially if you're asking for just the pump and not a brand new bottle

Alma Divina is good. I have it. But yes the no refunds policy in this situation gives me pause before shopping. Because I have had packages stolen in the past. Especially come the holiday season.
I have been buying from skin potion a while. I have three different packaging through the years. I was a bit disappointed the last order. I got Alma divina and seven mile. Seven miles is not as strong , different texture. I fear they are changing the things that we loved three years or so ago
Funny you say it smell likes hair grease. I said that about the original karma sutra. I was traveling, and my crystal melted and washed all over my clothes but it did harden back overnight in a cooler temp. The yummie smells good but reminds me of BSB caked up. I also noticed the different textures.
Hey Chi Chi girl!!!!! Kama sutra crystal is my fave. So far I have that one, Kama sutra, Alma Divina, yummie, Afrodisiac and veil of Venus. The last two I named are not my fave. I can barely smell them.

I have been watching the site because I love Valaya and would like a layering oil. But...I know that pressed hair oil/grease fragrance smell and I no like it. For $99 and the prices, I need/want consistency in quality of their product. 😒 I'll keep watching to see if you try Alma Divina again. I absolutely love your videos. I love this brand, but they do have a terrible shipping timeframe. I order early and often, and it tends to take over a month. Inventory should be at certain levels given historical sales trends. Alma Divina is gorgeous and my fave. For me, it’s a spot on dupe for Ex Nihilo’s Fleur Narcotique. Valaya is a bit more woody to my nose. Stunning nevertheless. ❤️
I don't mind a long shipping time as long as it's made known ahead of time which they do but 14 business days for processing is a lot but I'm sure people would complain about a pre-order too which I would love to have
So I love, I mean truly enjoy the Skinpotion collaboration with Yummiee. I bought 2 bottles of the oil and I should have gotten 2 body butters too. I digress, when they say limited edition, I said let me have another please, I needed to get my vanilla fix. I'm crossing my fingers hoping Ray would restock on Yummie because that is some amazing Vanilla. I wear it alone. Its so deliciously delightfully good.
@ GM Love, I love both but I must say that the butters are rich, moisturizing and emollient. The oils can be worn by themselves, the sillage is all day on their own but they also extend the life of the fragrance of your choice. Together they are the wonder twins of body care.
I purchased both Cookie Butter and Kama Sutra over a year or more ago. When I received them , the Cookie Butter metal/Tin top was bent and did not fit secure. I called customer service almost 10 times and either got no answer, voicemail and no call back. I finally bent the top as best as I could so the product wouldn’t dry out. I was so frustrated that I never placed another order with them. All I needed was a top that fit. How hard is it to send a replacement top through the mail? Terrible customer service. Now, the product is so hard I don’t even use it. The Kama Sutra is still nice and fragrant.
Alma smells just like Valaya to me . Nothing like hair grease to my nose. But my problem with this company is they have in inconsistencies in batches . I’ve received some that have smelled really off and then some that smell great . Their shipping is terrible and they’re very overpriced . I won’t order from them ever again . Luxury prices should come with a luxury experience

Ugh I’m sorry for your experience. Thankfully, that hasn’t happened to me. I have about 8 different scents from them and haven’t had that happen, although, when I do purchase from them I try to purchase right around the launch time. I’ve noticed it comes quicker the earlier you purchase rather than later in the day. Also, just as a small FYI, there is no “s” after “Skinpotion”. It’s actually singular lol

Ugh I’m sorry for your experience. Thankfully, that hasn’t happened to me. I have about 8 different scents from them and haven’t had that happen, although, when I do purchase from them I try to purchase right around the launch time. I’ve noticed it comes quicker the earlier you purchase rather than later in the day.
Also, just as a small FYI, there is no “s” after “Skinpotion”. It’s actually singular lol
Yeah while I was editing i was like why am I adding a s but I wasn't about to re record this lol. I ordered the last 2 during the initial launches and it took at least 2 weeks to get to me and I'm on the site promptly at 5:55 pm lol
I ordered kama sutra, kama sutra crystal, ambrosia, and alma divina. I hate them all. 😅 I'm from the Bronx and they all smell like the cheap oils u get from the stand on 125th st.
