Sure a little shipping is fun but every Dan and Phil video is flooded with shipper comments and it's no wonder they have had to act less closer on video to prevent weird "DAN AND PHIL CONNFFFFIRRRMED" theories popping up everywhere.
I'm concerned what will happen when one of them gets a girlfriend because no doubt she'll get a ton of hate from all these toxic Phangirls.
Let me say this, I'm gay and when I was in love with my best friend (partner now) and still in the closet EVERYONE I knew in school shipped us and it made us both uncomfortable and found it even harder to get together that way. Messing and spewing bullshit everywhere about how they "ARE" together and how they "SHOULD" be just creates more awkwardness between the two.
It's not the shipping that's the problem it's seeing it everywhere and all about how they're "canon" and that even bbc1 is shipping them. It's just ridiculous.

Jesus Christ, they're perfectly healthy weights in this video, and if you think otherwise then you really need to rethink your life. Yeah, maybe they look thinner now, but they're hardly fat on this video - it's not like they have massive beer bellies and double chins or something! People need to stop being so judgemental on something as trivial as weight, and just watch the video and enjoy the challenge they're doing - which is the whole point of the video - not saying ridiculous things about their weight. I thought Dan looked a little chubby(considering how skinny he usually is), but ultimately, they are both sticks. They are not even remotely fat, especially Phil, but Dan DID have the slightest muffin top; then again, I thought the love handles were endearing, and again, he is definitely nowhere near obese and not even close to overweight. No way can he be anywhere outside of a healthy weight zone, and considering how he's fairly sedentary-both of them-God bless their high metabolisms and sexy bodies.
