  • Dan Huss didn’t even break stride when his bridle broke during his final ride with Ms Dreamy at the American Quarter Horse Association World show. Though the duo zeroed because of a rule that doesn’t allow the rider to touch the reins with both hands, their bridleless performance will go down in history.

This is my favorite performance of all time. That horse loves her job!

It's awesome how the bridle fell off and he could still finish the pattern! That's what I call a relationship between the horse and the owner.

She was likely drugged, most are drugged before shows, the reining industry is really shady with that sort of thing

@@scouteques8778 . . . what sort of drug makes a horse respond to cues without a bridle? I'm very curious.

@@CossackGene ace and other drugs like it, I’ve seen “trainers” use it for that exact purpose

@@scouteques8778 back when I worked at a hunter barn, I also saw people ace-ing horses. I know what it does: it's a sedative. It does not train the horse to do anything. I'm not saying this horse wasn't drugged, but this pair's ability to finish their pattern bridleless has nothing to do with that, not at all, not even remotely.

Check your tack before going in? I loved this ride! Screws must have been loose and she rubbed them just enough that they came apart. I think he was DQ'd due to having to grab all the stuff up so she did not step on it?

Yes, he was dq'd because he tuches the rains with both hands, to pull it up.

This proves you don't need archaic equipment to ride.
