Hi does creators app allows connection to turned off camera? Imaging edge allows you to browse contents from camera when it's turned off, is this behaviour the same with this app?
Phew! That is a lot of steps to undertake to successfully connect the iPhone to the camera. Do the images get downloaded both to the camera's memory card AND the iPhone?
This was helpful. I routinely travel to remote areas without Internet (but can use wifi or wifi direct), does the creators app require internet to connect?
Did anyone find a way to automatically display photos on the app while shooting with the camera? It used to be possible with Imaging Edge app. Now we can only have a live view that drains the battery life and does not allow to browse all shot photos.
My Sony A7IV and Sony A7CMII won't connect to my iPhone 14 ProMax through the Creators App. Per Sony Technical Support, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is not a compatible device with my cameras. This again per Sony Technical Support!
@@CharlieVN Interesting. The Creators App doesn't list the iPhone 14 Pro Max or the iPhone 15 as a comparable device. I have OS 16.6.1 in my 14 Pro Max and can't WiFi connect using the Creators App. Hopefully a fix is coming. Thanks for your response!
make a checklist 1. Bluetooth enabled on camera 2. Bluetooth enabled on phone 3. Can you pair? if not, manage devices on Phone AND camera, delete old entries, try 1 and 2 again. 4. If you CAN pair, make sure you join Wifi, and if connections exist, may want to "forget network" and rejoin. 5. Make sure app on phone has every single permission known to man enabled, regardless of how invasive. You can always change that after you get connected.
That Sony connection process is Crazyyyy....!🤣🤣🤣🤣

I tried this app but it cuts down my 53 min video . What can I do to get the entire video sent to my phone ?

I don’t think it’s an option at this point. I prefer creators app for sure, imaging edge won’t work with newer cameras

Monitor plus is better, it is not free, but is better.

This app sucks as much as the Image Edge. Maybe more.
