I dont know what went wrong in mjty coz lbfad still gives me the chills till date i can rewatch as much as i want without getting bored, it has great storyline and the acting of all actors is on point and their chemistry offset gives this family crew vibe that it should give but mjty... apart from second leads cp carrying it and their interaction with didi both on and offset theres not this harmonious family vibe from them its like the cast are in groups just like they were in the drama Or maybe because they didnt spend much time with each other acting like in lbfad
Lbfad was so heavy on the romance and realky only focused on DFQC and XLH. For mjty its not. People who think 2nd CP carried the drama are those who are more inclined on the romance part of the story. But as a whole xinxin carried MJTY with her character still topping character charts even after the series ended. The fans of this drama are mostly divided into two, those who appreciate the story, plots, and the conflicts as a whole and the other part who focuses more on the sexual tension of 2nd CP and red flag characters like didi. Which is fine. What i think lacked in this though is the uneven editing and pacing. They made the ML look like a side character and gave the 2nd MLs story more focus. The story telling was also mostly in 2nd MLs POV. I blame the editing. They cut a lot of scenes in the beginning like Ziyu having photographic memory and helping the elder tattoo the scripture in his back.
@@bybmt3471 the fact that 2nd leads carry the drama doesn't mean I'm inclined on the romance part, I even prefer dramas without romance just that the story from the leads is not giving at all, they do not have interesting storyline the main leads are the one focused on romance and petty love even the second leads didn't really have romantic moment apart from the pool scene which is all tension Also I like lfbad not because of the romance even but because of the vibe they give with their power for example the scene where heavenly clan and DFQC clan fought together against the demon Edit: and of course I'm not saying Esther Yu and Linghe are bad actors, like I said in my first comment their acting was on point in lfbad and it is also in mjty just that the storyline of mjty is not favorable to them I like all the actors in lfbad coz I appreciate their acting in it I now like Lu yuxiao and Cheng lei also coz I also appreciate their talent
