Parashat Lech Lecha: Holy Root

In Parashat Lech Lecha G-d tells Abraham to depart from his homeland (Gen 12:1). Why did G-d tell Abraham he needed to depart from מארצך “miartsekha” (his land), וממולדתך “Umimoldetekha” (his birth place), and ומבית אביך “Umibeit avikha” (his fathers house)? G-d could have simply told Abraham: לך־לך אל־הארץ אשר אראך, “Lech Lecha el haeretz asher are’ekha” (Go to the land that I will show you). Why did G-d feel the need to add the additional: לך־לך מארצך וממולדתך ומבית אביך, "Go from your land, your birthplace, and from your father's house?" I am so glad to have found this teacher again! I heard him when I ABBA first laid TORAH on my heart and while I listened I couldnt really grasp as a beginner in TORAH.
