This one's a quick one based on some questions I've seen in the comments. As always, let me know if you have something specific you'd like to see covered! And for more in-depth videos, don't hesitate to check out the rest of the playlist - ua-cam.com/video/HSXF3b39TZg/v-deo.html!
Appreciate your videos! I would like to see another one on wars and basically the ui for army and the navy. Tried playing in a couple of wars but find the fronts messy, where is what, where actually are my troops, am I winning, what and were am I doing good or bad, I guess I don't quite get that part yet.
Hey thanks for the video. Playing as Japan in 1885 already, my integrated colonies such as sakhalin, states in Micronesia and Polynesia, can’t work on farms or mines that i built for them. Like they have almost 0 employees on everything. I am subsidizing and grass is green decree, but for many decades nothing changed. Any ideas? Thanks
Great topic. The game does a bad job at fleshing this mechanic out so this is helpful. One suggestion for a topic would be to go a little more into trade and when trade agreements make sense. I know you covered it in your overview videos but it's not intuitive in the game on how to join someone else's customs union, start your own, difference between a customs union and a market, and when to do trade agreements since you lose out on tariff income.
Hey Party, always enjoy your videos, hoping to see another let's play of Banner Lord 2 since it has been fully released. Enjoyed the story telling and gameplay of the playlist. That is just my humble take on it, keep up the good work regardless if you don't make another Banner Lords 2 series will still watch your content, thank you.
I would love to get an in-depth look into how the combat system works, as I really don't see any good guides out there that cover things like combat width, switching between equipment penalties, generals and what effect having multiple generals on the same front does (is it even benificial?), what decides what general fights which fight and how many troops he pulls in. Is it beneficial to raising conscripts that take up combat width with subpar equipment and might take slots that better units fill up? How important is recover (I assume a lot) Essentially what's the best army "composition" as I feel like quality over quantity triumphs a lot of the time, especially with good recovery.
A question for a future guide: how to make other countries to accept my pact-offers, for exampel a customs union? What specifically influences the other country to accept? Thank you for your videos!
You need: 1) significantly higher GDP (max +20 acceptance bonus) 2) huge trade volume with said country (i think this also maxes out at +20 3) positive 80 relations 4) spending an obligation to get +50 And even after all that, the AI might still not accept if their stupid little AI brains somehow perceives you as a threat. I think the AI needs to be at least cordial against you for customs union to be even remotely possible
Western Africa, Gulf of Guinea is very good for a lot of tropical goods and pops. Western Sahara is a really good choice in the early game because it doesn't have Malaria but has sulfur and sulfur is a problem for many countries. If you colonize the small coast of Kenya, you can quickly secure the vast hinterlands for yourself later.
I would love a guide on slavery. E.g. slave trade and how it works isnt explained at all! Also can i use slaves to make cheap sugar gor example? I havnt seen any guide on this yet i would love to see one!
That's not the only change. In addition to what you said, unincorporated states don't receive benefit from your institutions (education, welfare, law enforcement, etc). But as long they're not incorporated, they do receive the benefits (and penalties) from your colonial affairs law, even if it's done colonizing.
Thank you. Very helpful. I am still unsure whether pausing colonization actually prevents war (which, as you say, has serious effects on the state) or whether it just delays war, in which case maybe you'd be better off just getting it over with... But my playing as the USA and ealing with the Sioux and Arapaho might distort my experience, these may be hard coded exceptions to how things generally work.
All you need to do to prevent a war is save scum and if the game is being really stubborn, pause for a single day and then start it again, and the uprising will be averted.
Who does the thumbnails? This great one made me look at the previous Vic3 thumbnails and I just realised the Mistakes to avoid video has a great easter egg which I had completely missed. Great detail!
After trying and trying to learn the game, I've finally figured out the colonial growth mechanics. The game gets more fun the more you learn. 10/10 would colonize Congo as Belgium again. HANDJES KAPPEN DE CONGO IS VAN ONS (a dutch line meaning: "cutting off hands, the congo is ours")
You talk about how to prevent uprisings, but I'd like to do the opposite. It's annoying when you're colonizing something and another nation gets an uprising and just gobbles up the entire state. I want to do the gobbling! The only things I can think of is switching to exploitation asap and colonizing several states within the same nation. Is there anything else I can do to promote an uprising so I can stop other nations from taking land away from under my nose?
More than the loss of life and money, the uprisings I found costly by virtue each auto adds for you the conquest wargoal and the accompanying infamy. I gained like 40+ just by uprisings in Africa..
@@contingenesis5126 Yeah, makes conquest so difficult. So a 'start as small nation and form a big empire' is like, nuts to do. Hopefully they alter it down the line.
@@Runetrantor oh and also i forgot to mention about "manuevers" thing which makes conquering states 20+ "maneuvers" to do and you're limited to 100 but i guess thats balanced
Quick question it keeps saying ´´cannot incorporate colony while it is still growing´´ does that mean that I have to wait until all of the territory is colonized before I can incoporate a territory? My problem is i cant collect profits from colonies that are not incoporated to my nation yet.
UA-cam needs an "ignore topic" function. Subscribed to 5 "CK3 channels", they all start to cover V3 now. I'd rather ignore a game I don't like than to unsubscribe from otherwise great content creators. But as it is right now, my feed gets flooded with this.
Because if you're a CK3 creator and a new PDX game comes out, not covering it means you'll lose viewers except for the most hardcore CK3 people. CK3 is years old and the last DLC was kind of a slap in the face. Not many people are trying to learn more CK3 mechanics. They're kind of already there. You can see people stream it on Twitch. Victoria 3 just came out, the Wiki is a joke, and people are looking for content and how to do things. We already know how to do everything in CK3.
@@snowbear163 i know all of that. it wasn't against an one of those awesome people. That's why I'd rather have the option to ignore a game than to un"bell" like 5 UA-camrs I like

hat about losing colonial interest. my colony got paused about halfway done even though the law is still in effect?
I hope you start a let's play soon. It would be so much fun with your role playing tendency.
I’d prefer an AAR, an After Action Report. Tell us how the game went and why PartyElite makes certain decisions
English Second Language here... hey everybody it's Party Elite at 200Km/h.... Gosh...
Great content but yes, he speaks like a machine gun. - I'm a native English speaker
Put the play speed at 0,75
i thought my playback speed was at 1.25 at first lol
Just play it at lower speed then. I actually like the way he speaks. It’s fast but extremely clear
LOL That's so funny 🤣 🤣.
I do like how he talks fast though

Should you at all incorporate the state, as it only changes the infrastrucure/Tax from that state?

How do I get rid of “Illegal Colonization”?
How you got those "30 and 25 points on colonization house? You explaiined from the midddle, and not from begining how you got those numbers...
Can I colonise Mexico or make it a dominion similar to Australia or British Raj as an European power?
If I enter a war would they help me somehow?
Neat
If you cannot colonize even though you have interest on the area you maybe couldn't gain an active interest yet.

But if you incorporate it your literacy will tank most of the time it's not worth it.
Is party elite talking faster now?
He might have had a coffee before recording or something a bit stronger.

How do you provoke a 'annex war' with a decentralized nations fast. To snowball Africa
You just need to keep applying pressure and upsetting the locals without relenting.
