For reference, these idiots connected the ocean to another inland waterway, and now you see the result. They wrecked the entire beach to be cool. That's why it's constantly eroding, silt doesn't hold its shape well so they essentially washed most of the beach sand from that area away. Another fun fact, beach sand is at a all time low and is crucial in some industries so this beach won't be fixed likely ever. Kinda wish it eroded and blew them out to some island Paradise that they can't hurt anything else at.
I grew up on 26th Ave. in Santa Cruz California. There’s a lagoon attached to the beach. I loved it when people did this drain the lagoon and the water rushed out and it made such a beautiful crevice. I’ll never forget my years being on that beach.

Some of the most intelligent people I know will look at a problem from all angles BEFORE attempting 1 of many solutions they came up with. It takes practice, but once you’re good at “putting yourself in other people shoes” from multiple academia subjects or even from an emotional standpoint, you’ll have all the answers. It’s pretty amazing. I actively try to work on this lol.
