Wei Yi is that student of the class who hardly raises hand to answer a question but when he raises then it's only him who can answer it better than anyone.
Whaaaat?🥲
you weirdos continue to be as cringe as they come with these comments
He even looks like that guy! Badass
Holyshit I hate you for reminding me of those students 😂😂
Wei Yi is that one piece of food which you have never seen in your life but your distant uncle who visits once every 5 years brings for you to try and it blows your mind into oblivion.
Agadmator, the only chess content creator who can unpin a knight with only his mind, and can turn 1 second into 1 minute with only his words.
That's hilarious 😂
Indeed a wizard
2:24 he even turned queen into king
The best and most humble commentator😊
6:47 King sacrifice!
Agad is the GM of chess content.
Dont disrespect. Super GM = Agad content creator
+++
Super duper GM
We love you agadmator
6:50 brilliantly managed 😂🙌
Weiyi is legend killer 💪
This Wei Yi guy should have played the candidates
He probably would have won kt
Should have qualified then
He’ll be there next time
@@blue_red_screen He did not play in 2023. He will be back for the 2025 candidates.
@saidabdelghaniboutoughmas2726 he didn't play in 2023 so it was right not to give him a candidates spot and instead to those 8 players
Wei Yi and Ding are friends, will be awesome if Wei Yi is Ding's second for the upcoming WCC against Gukesh.
Ding needs all the help he can get
Might as well play instead of Ding.
@@compositeur8455 Neither Ding nor Gukesh are quality contenders.
Can i just say, i really admire how you are able to product these videos nearly every day without compromising quality or thoroughness. And with a newborn! Hats off to you, sir
Wei Yi is just that guy
To come after more than 4 years of hiatus and play such..brilliant!!
Interesting game. It’s also worth mentioning that in the position at 4:49 it was possible to take the pawn with Qxe5 but it would lead to a draw after Rxf3. That’s a nice line as well.
Thanks always Agad 🎉
Qg4+ Wei Yi Fantastic win vs Nordibek takes a lot to beat top 5
Amazing to be able to put the game down for a number of years then come back and play at this level. What a player.
The rise of Wei Yi is exciting to watch!
Agadmator i been following you and watching your video's for years now and i love it you sir are a breath of fresh air very consistent and multi reference/ cultural guy ,you are very smart ,i loved anime reference of over power ❤
dear sir, kindly show the time for the rapid games if you can.. i loved it when you did it for the classical matches
Wei plays 1.e4
"Hello everyone!"
Wei Yi's games are such a treat. Love you, man. ❤
Wei Yi took a 4 years break since covid, then came back crushing everyone else, that's exactly opposite of what Ding is doing
Young grasshopper please wait and see what happens at the WCC match
coming back and becoming the world champion wasnt enough for you?
Wei Yi doing like Kendrick... dropping another win before the last video is finished. 😆😆
stone cold lmao
QQ, at 4:50, why can’t white do Qxe5? If black takes back, white has rf8#. What am I missing?
Good Q. And the endgame as shown isn't so clear to me. The black K can just cycle back and forth diagonally in front of the white pawns and keep them held. If white's K then tries to free his far-side pawn for queening, that takes 6 moves vs. the passed black pawn's 5 moves. What am _I_ missing?
Edit: It could be that the white K starts guiding his pawns forward and that passed black pawn is then not fast enough to queen, even if the white K winds up out of the square of the passed black pawn.
Draw after Rxf3
Because Rxf3 and white is certainly not playing for a win in that position. There is no need to calculate further if you see that you are on the tricky side of equal position. After Rxf3 if gxf3 then c2 pawn falls with check and here black has a passed c4 pawn so white needs to play accurately here.
The other option is to insert Qb8+ first and there are 2 important options here, tbh i am unsure about the Qe8 Queen trade and it’s one of those positions where move by move has to be considered but I don’t think black is losing that endgame. The problem is that the bishop can’t really target anything and the king is far away to target the pawns, so white has to be careful here. But even the Ne8 option (which i prefer in rapid/blitz), black is certainly pressing here because again the c2 pawn falls with check which is an issue in most of these lines so black is not worse here, white needs to play accurately. When you realise that after Qxe5 Rxf3 that black is not worse then you should stop calculating because there is no point playing a position that’s draw or lose with high risks. This concept separates advanced players to master level players. Black also has perpetual threats because allowing Rxf3 ruins the kingside pawn structure too.
White is simply better if they keep the king safe and slowly build up threats against the exposed enemy king so they don’t need to rush. Black is running out of moves trying to cover their weaknesses.
Good battle here!
Very beautiful
Wei Yi on the rise but his compatriot Ding Liren is shaky. Ding was solid at his prime.
I'm a little surprised why you don't show us Wei Yi defeat against Magnus. That was a really nice game #suggestion
What would need to happen for magnus to win the tournament?
It is said that adag ended the analysis before the game finished.
What a quote that is
Which app does agad uses to play these games
Wei yi is the man! He is the man!!!Amazing!!!
Ding and Wei yi exchanged brains in china
Wei yi beating everyone.
40 views 1 minute ago.u are blazing
Wei Yi did it to Nodirbek which Nodirbek did to Anish. Those connected g and h pawns...
"...once every 50 episodes completely overpowered" or "overpowering"?
Indeed Wei YI is one to watch closely . He seems to be pretty good. That trick with capturing the pawn at the end does win him Don Corleone pts as it can be interpreted as baiting Abdusattorov into ...an offer he couldn't refuse, thus reducing the game to a 4-tablespace with 2 connected pawns. Nodirbek went for it (capturing the pawn), after all Wei-Yi's move could be considered sub-par, his pawn where for a move or so doubled, so yeah, nice touch, but not something you can get away with in classical play, i should think.
wei yi :- i'm a slim shady pls stand up
He makes me so proud to play the Vienna
he is Ding! "Face off"...
Wei to go!
Is Vincent Keymer in a slump? I am hoping to see him once again as a strong contender in future matches.
Yeeee 🦖
Even Gukesh cannot stop wei yei..this guys is chess future champion
why is your video sharpened?
b4 top move in any position
Wei Yi is amazing 🎉
wei yi said wait a minute my time of sleep is already finish time to obliterate
5.11.24 .. .mate announcement soon...🪢3🍧🪢
Mr Wei Yi decided that his higher education comes first and only after he got it he came back the remind us of what a monster of a chess player he trully is. I almost forgot about him during his hiatus.
in the moment 7:19 Wei Yi could play Re8 - check and black queen is lost.
Agad isnt showing Magnus games again 😅
Wei Yi rarely appears but when he does, he's dominating
Gukesh is for boy Wey Yi is for man ⭐️
Both are good
@@shashishekhar---- i really appreciate the run of gukesh but look the game of Wey Yi.He gives me pure goosebump🤩
@@beauf4yes Wei is playing good.
Gukesh is a strong player no doubt but wei yi games are very entertaining. He plays attacking chess like Mikael tal but with more accuracy and sound tactics.
@@Marumax9 i’m not so sure of this anyway maybe gukesh win this year and in the next candidates will see
Wei Yi shows the content Ding Liren should do.
Mr.Yi is the black horse of chess right now. Nobody counts him at beginning of tournament and after a low start defeats everybody.
Wei Yi v is the best.
Hellow everyone!
At 3:49 why not bc5
b4... The top move in any position. 😆😆
Did Wei Yi Absorb Ding Liren's powers or something? This is what we expected from Ding when he became WCC. Well done Wei Yi!
check the bathtub for butt engines.
This dude came out of a rock winning left and right.
Ironically, nodibrek won against magnus with this same forced queen exchange, now he lost for it.

Hi y'all!
Wei Yi > Ding
Prag still got a light🫡
Show dubov games from russian team chess
You missed a golden opportunity to throw in a "sorry about that" at 3:35 😢
can wei yi take it all the wei?
Wei Yi is completely overpowered 😂😂😂, he did say Magnus is his favorite cause he's so strong maybe that's why
One punch man..
#AlekhineSaga
Wei yi vs firouzja should be interesting.
That fashion dude will be destroyed by Wei yi at this point. One have to play super solid and positional boring game to beat Wei yi.
2:35 Imagine you knew you are facing an unbeaten guy then he played this move. LOL that such terrifying to see
MK
.
First Antonio said "that's the game" then he corrected himself and said " those were the games". Looks like Antonio cares more about grammar then Ding Liren cares about WCC
You didn't gave me a ❤ 😢😢😢😢

South Africa first to comment. Yay 🎉🎉🎉
First
I love this channel and game analysis. However, something that always bothers me is the fact that when there are no moves to be done or weird positions are going on when there are "now what to do" situations, or ehat else can be played; not the top move recommend by the engines are shown some normal/silly/simples moves are shown which can ruin the analysis.
Just my opinion tho. But love the good work. There used to be an " I let the engine crunch positions to depth 40+" and showing premium moves and now it is not there which I am like ok what if this. What if that? It is always the first and easiest way to give up and I don't like it
