I've never really considered myself much of a beachy-interior designer, but this provided a lot of insight into what I thought was cliché. This house really blended the natural elements together. It's was bold, but in a subtle way, and I really enjoyed that. Thank you so much!
Beautiful project for the client's stage of life, where they also thought of being able to create those moments of happiness when the family is united. I thought it was spectacular the agreement with the neighbor so that both can enjoy the whole house. Thank you team for the content.
Wow such peaceful soundtrack!!! It blends perfectly with the narration of the entire video! The home has such a warm welcoming design I felt so pleased knowing its legacy will prevail for generations to come!
Beautiful home. So well designed to fit within the landscape in a manner that does not detract from the natural surroundings. Wonderful materials are used throughout from the tiles in the bathroom and the kitchen to the wood used for the ceilings. Such a warm place for family to gather.
This is definitely one of my dream home!! It really blends with the environment! Plus, the breathtaking views really sold me! So magnificent! Thanks Local Project

That's quite a wine collection. Im wondering if the brick. covered outer walls were supposed to leave the inner brick imrpints? Or if that was a mistake because I am currently also making brick walls and thought about covering them but now considering leaving them naked.
I don't think it was a mistake, it was done on purpose just like how they did it under the front stairs entrance, the trick is that the cement/grout put in between should be as level/flat to the wall, and they probably sealed it and sanded it afterwards resulting in a flat surface, the result is amazing cause you get 2 colour gradients instead of just a single colour wall
@@pihermoso11 That’s very interesting because the village I’m in, the farmers use cedar blocks to fence their property and put a cheap cement mix on and the results are similar. I just never imagined it as an aesthetic on purpose!
The dwelling is very beautiful (although too large as usual). The thing that disturbs me is that I saw only two very small photovoltaic panels. He talked a lot about landscape, nature, vegetation, etc. I hope they also thought about how to make such a large house environmentally sustainable.

What’s “uniqueness”? Concrete rectangle, glass on two sides. Same as most every house on this channel. Each architect talks about responding to the environment-same design, same materials. Would I want to live in it? Absolutely 100%
There is a kind of irony that a carpenter lives in a house made of concrete and glass with hard surfaces everywhere and the only sign of wood is on the ceilings.
There is nothing special about open concept. It is the worst environment. It creates a cacophony of kitchen noises. It creates a jailed environment like living in a confined cell. Idk why so many think it’s great. I don’t want to hear, see or smell the kitchen in my living space.
There it is 5:22 'MATERIALITY' Guaranteed, absolutely guaranteed the NON-word 'materiality' is going to be used at least once in EVERY F'ing Aussie video!! Absolutely drives me crazy!! That is NOT A WORD!! NOBODY else in the ENTIRE WORLD used that word!! The word you're looking for is 'MATERIALS'.......... 'Materiality' means NOTHING!!
@@willcox2300 A quick google and you will find that - The GLM estimates that in the modern world a new word is created every 98 minutes (approximately 14.7 new words per day). Each year, an estimated 800 to 1,000 neologisms are added to English language dictionaries (in the 20th century alone, more than 90,000 words have been added). So in other words 'materiality' is probably one of those, which is why absolutely NOBODY USES IT (Except Aussies of course)
I thought the same. Not a single touch of life. The exterior is bland, but the interior is done well...while still feeling sterile. I got a kick out of the lone chair in the corner of the hallway. Not all form has to function, but a random chair for the sake of filling space seems... lazy?
Some people (such as myself) do not like the 'clutter' of personal objects all over the house. I like the look of a simple unadorned room with artworks not in competition with anything else. This is a quiet building with a softly spoken interior.
I'm no expert , but pretty sure they've anchored the foundation to the bedrock. As for the investment part, seems like a good one to me, the house is 100 meters away from a gorgeous , pristine beach.
Terrible Australian accent! Какой всё-таки ужасный австралийский акцент. 2:43 Пэйпул, вместо пипл (people). 3:33 Райшь вместо Райт (right) 3:44 Зэшь вместо that
I would assume for safety because there are a bunch of grandchildren running around. Not sure if it's a building code otherwise. Luckily, the fencing can easily be removed in the future.

I feel calmer for just having watched it.
This home tour is a therapy in itself.
The wonderment, the joy of creation fulfilled. Life is good…. Happy for you and your wife.

The colour palette is meticulous. Love the dark green, it's been used with intention and a beautiful consistency.

We couldn't agree more ❤️
Beautiful work on this one. Great to see TLP coming back home to Australia. The intro with the beach is gorgeous.
Definitely a beautiful part of Victoria ❤️
The rock and stone stairway leading up to the house is such a clever and playful use of the environment! ♥
Splendid home. What a well done community. I would love to see more of the overall area, including the other 6 homes.
Wow such peaceful soundtrack!!! It blends perfectly with the narration of the entire video! The home has such a warm welcoming design I felt so pleased knowing its legacy will prevail for generations to come!
Glad you enjoyed it!

We couldn't have said it better ourselves 🙌

Our pleasure!
It's cool to see the Mucca Madboys have cleaned up their act and are now thriving
Fabulous home. Fabulous.
The Great Whites down there must be the size of a Ford Explorer…
Soft. Smooth details. Warm appealing.
Deck on north side and south side, nice! I really like this one. It's beautiful!
Amazing home! Loved the design and finishes.
This is just perfect! 💯
I completely immersed into the experience
Stunning home, even better location!

I read the title as Ultimate Smurf House and was expecting something entirely blue.
😂
Nice home!

Amazing house … but l think the majority of surfers couldn’t afford a house like that
😍
TOP demais 😃👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏽🥰
👍👍👍💖💖💖💎💎💎✨✨✨
thoughtful neighbor...... in california the will build and ADU right in front of your bathroom without a care in the world lol
when you say 'available to a wider portion of the population' what is the cost of this particular house?
Wouldn’t be too proud of filling the basement with bottles of poison.
Just another concrete shipping container dumper upon nature. Do like the sandstone landscaping

Beautiful minimalist house, but no sign of personal livings, things, flowers, books, objects
The curse of the architect😊

"the house is built on top of a sand dune" literally worst investment possible...🤣
I'm a bit concerned and hope they drilled down to the bedrock.
I'm no expert , but pretty sure they've anchored the foundation to the bedrock. As for the investment part, seems like a good one to me, the house is 100 meters away from a gorgeous , pristine beach.
Fantastic location. House is drab, unoriginal and forgetful.

why the fence around the swimming pool?
I would assume for safety because there are a bunch of grandchildren running around. Not sure if it's a building code otherwise.
Luckily, the fencing can easily be removed in the future.
