Here is a breakdown of the first step of the Shim Sham Shimmy Part 1 called The Shim Sham. The Shim Sham Shimmy is a classic Tap Dance combo that every Tap dancer should learn as some point in their Tap Dance career. It is thought to be the national anthem of Tap Dance. In this video, I slowly break down the first step, called The Shim Sham, then I pick up the tempo and do it a little faster.
