  • In this video, we will cover levels of management. If you are appearing for +1 Commerce/+2 Commerce/ higher education. This is an important area for all the examinations even competitive exams. To start with, there are three levels of management:
    1 Top management
    2 Middle management
    3 Lower management
    1 Top level management is the part which includes the owners of the company. It includes top officials like CEO (Chief Executive Officer), Board of Directors, Managing Director and President of the Organization. The important decisions of the company are initiated by the top management of the Company. They are important human resources for the management who plan about the survival of the organization. The rules and regulations for the institution are framed by the top management.
    2 Middle Level includes the managers of the organization. For example: production manager, finance manager, marketing manager etc. They are appointed by the top management. This level is a link between the top management and the lower/operational management. The messages or instructions by the top management are passed to the lower management by middle management.
    3 Lower Management/Operational Management: The lower management of the organization is controlled by the middle management. The policies framed by the top management are passed to Lowe management with the help of middle management. This is the operational level and includes: clerks, workers and supervisors. It is ensured that there is no dispute among the workers. They try their best to minimize the wastage of the resources of the organization. In case of any complaints and grievances among the workers, it is passed on to the middle management.
