Hearing that big block ripping and seeing Zac sawing at the wheel trying to keep it straight is a thing of beauty.
Watching Zac do burnouts at the end was actually less terrifying than Suppy's inability to drive.
His first donut attempt I thought it was gonna get on 2 wheels for sure!

as someone who built a 540 bigblock 68 k5 blazer i can tell you they are so super sketchy and zack is 100% right about the flex and frame loading up i also left stock brakes at first and that added another degree of sketch.......100% RESPECT THE SEND
Embrace the sketch.
The stock brakes are bad enough on my 88 K5 with a new stock tbi 350 and 35" tires and aluminum wheels. The big block just gets you to a speed where you may need those brakes at a faster rate. LOL My 79 C20 is 4 wheel disc and hawk pads, so it stops great, but used to be my daily driver and tow vehicle. It has a well built 406 sbc that should be around 400hp 500+tq, but was built for longevity so it can tow long grades and work as a daily driver for 100k+ miles. The K5 isn't the one I would whip around mountain corners with or do anything risky with handling.
No such thing as a 68 k5 blazer.

Zacs truck sounds sooo good. Also, the body lines of that lightening match so well with that 2jz sound. You guys need to finish that truck and give it the love it deserves! 1000hp, fat tires. Do projector hid retrofit into the headlights. Please!

I had a 1976 gmc Jimmy high Sierra with a 1foot lift and 3 quarter ton axles with a GM crate motor and 38s. The thing was an absolute monster ... never got stuck in that truck

I remember going to see fast n furious with my dad in his e36. (I was 13). We had just started bonding by modding the car by putting an hks catback on it. Probably one of the more memorable moments of my younger years.

@@Sk1m_Beeble yea by 2007 it was the first 1000whp e36 328 and first 4 door e36 in the 9s. But yup still got it. Would like to do a refresh with more modern parts. When the car was built e85 wasn't a thing yet and the biggest injectors at the time were 1600cc.

So, I myself have a 1976 k5 and I have a 650 horse bored 402 big block, and rowdy is an understatement. Boom tubes and 6500 rpms straight ripping is ear pearcing. I drive it through town and I’ve had people tell me their windows actually warp and rattle. It blows my 40” tires off no matter what. It’s stupidly amazing and I love it.
This race was epic. The Frightening is definitely faster, but the Jimmy won by attacking the opponent with sheer noise and violence. I love it!
Zac’s Jimmy sounds freakin amazing, and you would think he was rowing gears from the sound, damn!.
