Yes, the 15th Alabama was at Gettysburg. They were part of the attack at Little Round Top.
The 4th Texas was also at Gettysburg.

Union gal, myself, but this was excellent footage.
All so well done by the Liberty Rifles, including the Rebel Yell. 👍

I don't understand the point in color grading video of a reenactment. There weren't video cameras back then so it's not like you're making the footage look old timey and more authentic.

Hey man, totally get your point. My sister filmed and edited and wanted to test out various techniques. I'll confess my whole family was fresh off watching the WWI documentary "They Shall Not Grow Old" and so it was a wink and nod to that project, though a different time period!

Photos back then were in black-and-white. So you can pause the video and get the vibes of the old 1800s photographs.

@@nimitz1739 cameras were unable to capture motion and all photos were stationary and posed. So to see a sepia toned action still doesn’t make any sense either, but I get your point.

@@CivilWarRegiments6165 That is a spectacular documentary. I partially enjoyed the clips of the artillery in action and being pulled by horses.
I think that’s the closest we’ll ever get to seeing horse drawn civil war artillery in combat.

@@mackenzieblair8135It’s kind of obvious that photographs back then were stationary. But again the black-and-white video gives off the vibe of those black-and-white photographs. There’s only one known photograph of Confederate soldiers in the field. This gives you the view of what it could’ve looked like besides that one photograph.

Re- enacting actions of enemies of the United States of America who reserved their right of freedom to enslave others. Some people forget nothing- and learn nothing.
