Basim swings effortlessly like a Langur, while Eivor pounds like a Gorilla
I'm honestly surprised people managed to complain about this game, this is exactly what was missing from Assassin's Creed and I'm sooo glad to have it back
It’s just a bunch of old men who can’t accept that 2009 is over and there’s more to the series than Ezio.
@@D-F-Tthe old ezio fans like me loved the parkour! Who hated is the fans of ac unity that like a beauty parkour without good system
Ubisoft isn’t a bad company. They’re just infuriating sometimes and honest to fucking god. What company isn’t
wow, Basim is so fast he made the computer slow down, especially the framerates
Some animations and transitions are weird, but overall it's a very stylish and fluent parkour system
Parkour is finally back but they need to remove the tactical UAV Eagle
It feels like he's teleporting to things instead of fluidly doing the movements sometimes but I mean not bad parkour now.
@@MizterMoonshinewhy do you value style over substance in game mechanics
I don’t know if Ubisoft improved the parkour system of this game, but it looks a lot better than when it was first released
yeah bro the parkour has been improved by some updates, thank you for your comment :)
In my opinion it was better before the update where they made it faster. It looks a bit weird now
thank u for climbing over the building ledges and not jumping to the side like so many other players do when they post a parkour showcase lol its so unsatisfying to me
Respect nice🫡🫡🫡
“Parkour is one of the core tenets of AC and it’s a sin how the devs butchered it without any attempt to bring it back or have it be good”
Ac mirage:
0:30 "what's the matter that he had to leave through the door naked"
Said the random woman
They tried their best with this game if only Bordeaux was given resources for an entire new game
Strange jumps
Great clip. Parkour definitely has the "bone structure" of Valhalla, but its WAY faster and the city design allows for way more opportunities in Mirage from what it looks like. I'm thinking of finally buying this game, can you confirm if the controls on keyboard are okay? Not a fan of using controllers.
i can say you that the controls on keyboard are okay but i prefer controller in that type of game. Thank you for your comment :)
Ubi give basim speed boost
At 0:10, how do you swing UNDER the beams rather than wasting time climbing on top of them (which is the bane of my existence)?
Ac unity it's best parkour
In comparison to Unity it’s slow
@@pabloosstt i would say only one AC game can come close to unity in parkour speed. And that’s Revelations due to the hookblade
No be doesn’t
Yea nah, I'll stick with Unity's fast & epic moves tbh, this game's parkour was pretty underwhelming, overall the game wasn't as bad as the latest RPGs but definitely nowhere near Unity
@@pabloosstt Yep, I played most of them & Unity is the only one I played for MUCH longer than all others. Graphically looks great, animations smooth (unless the player is a clumsy mess & is just smashing buttons), the best AC in terms of gameplay tbh
I’d put it above Unity in some aspects, namely that you don’t usually have to fight the game to do parkour correctly
All the parkour animations are from Ac origins but in this game the city is only thing that is impressive... Story is daul, fighting just feels awful... Stealth is meh but the city? 10/10
Cheap combat ever
Definitely an improvement, but you can tell its really an updated parkour system from the RPGs. Still feels sluggish compared to previous titles. Still fun though, and you can tell the devs put effort into making the city a playground to parkour in.
I don’t like the slow start of the running.
I don't think anyone expected Mirage to be a revolution for parkour. But the Bordeaux team took a bad toolkit and made something playable with it. I still rank it low in my parkour ranking. It somehow maintains the AC-Revelations' problem of you can only grab ledges at a straight angle while it contains some of the automation from the Free Run Up/Down era. The result is a janky horrible slow system. Unity has my favourite parkour because you can grab ledges and start parkour chains from any angle and direction. And I started with the first AC and I'll admit even that system wasn't perfect. Parkour starts were the worst part of the parkour because you needed to start parkour at specific angles.
@@noobbotgaming2173 Sure but it was part of their PR advertisement. "A return to the roots". Half of the Mirage demo was an emphasis on the "updated" parkour system.
@@ratatoskr9366 they talked about new animations and the speed of them. They didn't lie. I think it was updated but not revamped.
