My grandfather died this morning around 1:30 (Australia) he was never a bad man, he never smoked,took drugs or drank alcohol. He's 79, he would've been 80 in September. He died of a heart attack when he fell over in his nursing home. He was never afraid of death, but he wanted to make it to the age of 80. He was born 1934 September - May 29th 2016. Yesterday was my mums birthday. Grandad, i will never forget you, i love you so much I feel so bad because I wasn't there to say goodbye I cant stop crying, aswell as the many people that love you. It was very sad, but we knew; this is the way he wanted to live, he was getting old (87), and he worked in the forrest, and you didn't want to be in a home for old people, nor a hospital. He was the sweetest, most humble human being I ever had the privilege of knowing, much less calling him my Poppy. He took care of others before he thought to take care of himself. l just got the message that my grandpa has a big lung cancer(4 stages) one month ago. When l saw him get ill day by day pass, l feel so helpless than what l actually look like. We're in Shanghai, China. We don't have that good equipment to treat him, or maybe it's too late for him to treat. He is a good man. God bless him

My grandfather is going through cancer in his life right now and this night may have been the last night I’ll ever see him. It’s horrible to know that people’s life’s flash before you. He’s been through so much and he’s been a great grandfather to everyone. I know life won’t be the same without him but I know he’s in a better place now. Earlier today I was talking to my mom about how I don’t want anyone to come to my concert at school because I get embarrassed. Her response was “You should be happy you have anyone to go with you in the first place. Your grandfather doesn’t have much time to live and you really shouldn’t be embarrassed about him going.” And that hit hard because that’s when I realized that I’ve been taking his life for granted all this time. And now it’s to late to change that. I’m only 13 and I have anxiety and depression. This won’t help very much with that. I just wanna see my grandpa again.

My grandfather passed away 2 weeks ago, i felt very numb and out of touch with the pain that my family felt. Eventually today, i sat down listening to a song we used to listen to while looking trhough photos in hope to feel something and sure enough i broke down. My grandfather spent a good amoutn of time of his life creating a well being theory that no one was intrested about, i think the theory is brilliant, it helped me so much. The weird thing I'm not crying or deeply sad( I'm still sad and shocked) but i still feels some relief because he finally free and finally can see his mother again( R.I.P Great Grand Ma love u always). He was strange guy due to the fact he had too many children with other women, but he wasn't a bad father. In fact he was one of the main people in the family that tie my dysfunction family together when my parents and their generation fight. He always somehow find a way to calm stuff down like my Great Grandma and my french/haitian Grandma from my maternal side. Old people are here for a reason to tell teach us why we should care and live life to the fullest and do the same when we have grand children.

My grandma passed away from cancer 6 years ago. It’s hard without her. But I had fun with her and shared memories to remember her. RIP my grandma 1948-2015
I too lost my grandfather his name was Mr. Sujit Kumar Bose, He used to call me Noku da, now I think that I had lost my best friend but he will forever be alive in my heart and he will surely reborn and I will find him and again called him dadu. Rest in peace: Dadu 1940 to 2020
He is Indian and he belongs from Hindu religion and his mother tongue is Bengali
My grandma died about a month ago, I have trouble sleeping now because I always remember the times we had spent together when she was still alive😢. We unfortunately did not have to luxury to greet each other one last time because she died of a sudden heart attack, I love you grandma may you rest in peace where ever you are😭. Deepest sympathies to those who lost a loved one as well. I hope they are in a better place, a place with no worries, a place with peace and endless bliss😢

My grandfather passed away 2 weeks ago, i felt very numb and out of touch with the pain that my family felt. Eventually today, i sat down listening to a song we used to listen to while looking trhough photos in hope to feel something and sure enough i broke down. My grandfather spent a good amoutn of time of his life creating a well being theory that no one was intrested about, i think the theory is brilliant, it helped me so much. I hope i can give this theory to some students in psychology for them to develop it.

My family members that are still alive go back four generations my Nonni has my dad at 17 and when I was born my great grandmother was 72 and she is still alive at 85 she is so sweet and I love her unfortunately the time will come that I will not speak of but one day all your family will be together forever in eternal life amen i love my great grandmother

My grandfather died yesterday, on 18th april. He was my rolemodel, my hero! My grandfather put his family's health before his, he cared so much about his family. He as I said was my rolemodel, hero but most importantly he was my grandfather! I miss him so much

My grandad died on 9-19-2020 from stomach cancer. He died a day after I told him it was okay. I miss him everyday but don’t worry. It’s what he wanted. Love you grandad.

my grandpa just past mins ago with the same cancer. The weird thing I'm not crying or deeply sad( I'm still sad and shocked) but i still feels some relief because he finally free and finally can see his mother again( R.I.P Great Grand Ma love u always). He was strange guy due to the fact he had too many children with other women, but he wasn't a bad father. In fact he was one of the main people in the family that tie my dysfunction family together when my parents and their generation fight. He always somehow find a way to calm stuff down like my Great Grandma and my french/haitian Grandma from my maternal side. Old people are here for a reason to tell teach us why we should care and live life to the fullest and do the same when we have grand children.
This really got me thinking about my granpa. We should really spend more time with our grandparents because we wont have them for a long time...
