I think that way about my granddad. When was the last time I called him? How long before he had all his issues was it when we last reloaded 45 colt rounds for the colt single action? Or went out and mowed the lawn, carefully as to not hit any half buried tools in his backyard? When was the last hug? It's been a little over 10 years (Feb 2014) since he died, but those questions cross my mind all the goddamn time, man. And it's a similar feeling to you. Mourning the end of an Era while realizing it being over can't hold a candle to the impact it caused while it was still happening. Idk, maybe I'm drawing more of a comparison than there really is, but who knows. I'm not old enough yet to have kids that old, and none of mine have made it to the end of pregnancy yet, the last one being the closest before it ended, at about 10 weeks. Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend, and she might not enjoy it in the moment, but go call her and ask if she remembers that kinda stuff, or something.

it doesnt, thats the thing. its a horror movie and i have seen this clip before, and there was always some creepy/eerie music in the background. also at the end of the clip the daughter just vanishes. the only thing that makes the clip fitting the music is the music itself
Not sure about the movie itself but from this it looks like it's based on (or at minimum inspired by) a book called House of Leaves which is basically liminal horror turned into a book.
Theodore Conroy is a retired banker married to Susanna, a much younger woman, and they have a daughter named Ella. Theo is a jealous husband and constantly fears Susanna, a successful Hollywood actress, is cheating on him. The family books a vacation in Wales, but there is something strange about the house-time passes unusually fast, and everybody experiences nightmares while staying there. The couple also discovers that neither one of them made the booking, each thinking the other did it. One night, Ella sees the shadow of a man on the wall. The next morning, she asks Susanna why people dislike Theo. Susanna reluctantly explains that Theo's first wife drowned in the bathtub, and people suspected that he killed her, though he was acquitted at trial. While in town for supplies, the shopkeeper asks if Theo has met Stetler, who Theo presumes is the home owner. He mysteriously gives Theo a drafting triangle and tells him to measure the right angles, leaving Theo confused. Theo wrestles with feelings of jealousy and mistrust toward Susanna. One evening, while she is taking a bath, Theo checks the messages on her phone and laptop. Theo has a dream that night and sees someone has written in his meditation journal: "You should leave. Go now." The following morning, as he watches Susanna and Ella playing outside, he texts her. At the same time he sees Susanna look at her phone, he hears a text vibration on the kitchen counter and finds an identical phone with his messages on the screen. Realizing that she has a secret phone, he suspects she has been cheating on him. He confronts Susanna, and she admits to an affair with another actor. Theo asks her to leave for the night, and she goes into town to stay at an inn. He returns to his journal to see that someone has now written “You should have left. Now it’s too late.” Upon discovering an anomaly in the angle between the wall and floor, they measure the kitchen and find that it is larger inside than outside. Ella and Theo get separated; the two of them appear to be experiencing separate visions in the dream world. Once reunited, Theo calls Susanna, wanting her to come back and take him and Ella away from the house, but her phone is turned off. He then calls the shopkeeper, inquiring whether he knows of any cab services in the area. The shopkeeper replies that there are none and speaks of the house cryptically, saying that the Devil collects souls from there. Desperate to escape the house, Theo and Ella decide to go to town by foot, but see a shadowy figure observing them from inside as they walk away from it. After some time, they find they have circled back to the house. Seeing no other option, they stay there for the night, but Theo enters the dream world again and sees his and Susanna's past selves as they first arrived at the house. He then meets Stetler, who has taken Ella captive. He takes Theo's form to taunt him and says he will return Ella on the condition that Theo does "what he must." Ella is returned, relieving Theo. The next day, Susanna returns to the house, and Theo gives her Ella. He finally confesses to the true circumstances surrounding the death of his first wife: he did not directly kill her, but did not help when she was drowning; he simply watched her die because he had been miserable with her for so long. He accepts that he belongs in the house. Theo's spirit is then seen trapped inside the house, revealing he had been the figure watching himself and Ella leave the night before, having tried to warn his past self by writing the messages in his journal. The shopkeeper's voice says that some people do not leave the house and that "the place finds them anyway."
The first thing I would do when discovering something paranormal about my house is to allow my daughter to go into said house while I remain outside doing sweet FA
To the people asking its a haunting/demon thing, the man (theo) is on vacation with his wife susanna and daughter ella. They go to this house but later find out neither of them made the reservation, some of the towns folk warn them the house is bad, and after this scene theo and ella get stuck in a timeloop where they can't walk away from the house. Susanna isn't there because shes been cheating on theo and he finds out so she goes to a hotel right before this scene. Later theo is told be the entity in the house that he can save his daughter by staying and sacrificing himself. He chooses to do so and when saying goodbye tells his current wife tells her that while he didn't kill his previous wife he did watch her drown and chose not to help because he was unhappy. During the movie there were messages left to him to leave the house and a few shadow people seen, he finds out at the end it was himself leaving the messages trying to keep his past self from staying and getting stuck

U read my mind. Thanks❤
Awesome movie. Major head games
"It says the room is 5 ft longer inside than on the outside" "well how is that possible?" *plays doctor who theme music*
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed the dad said it backwards! Lol
he didnt say it backwards.. the inside is 26 the outside is 21
@@heather6398 it's not "backwards", it's *dimensionally transcendental* 🤓
It's nice to find other whovians around 😊
@@mrdj3130 agreed. Thoughts on new season? I’m pretty excited for it and I’m really hoping it’s good but it’s so short 😭
Nah, maybe the wall was thick and the inside just took up more space
The fact that it does not show the kid leaving the house, not letting you know if it was the video cut, or the movie, is genuinely terrifying
Siiiick
Probably the craziest storyline I’ve read in awhile
Where can I watch this?
Story likhne ki jagah movie ka name hi batana tha
So interstellar but with a house and a cheating wife
“Does this wall look right to you”
“I’m a fucking 5 year old how would I know💀”
dont know how that made me chuckle
real@@meraculus-zn3zx
i could hear her oice say that in my head with attitude lmao
How would a 5 year old know the f-word?
The girl Avery Essex was 7 at the time of filming
when you acidently buy a TARDIS...
Same feeling like when I bought stuff "on sale" and it is more expensive than before
The movie is called "You Should Have Left"
Thank you, was just gonna ask ❤
Thanks
Thank you!
Nobody posting the video bother to tell us.
I hate when the clips channels don’t put the names of movies in the descriptions
They don't want to get de-monitized.
Indonesian builders would be the opposite😭
Frank Gallagher really changed
Bro unlocked the TARDIS upgrade for his house
That's the right answer 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh, nice ! DW fan...
Wait mr bacon is a timelord 😂
This movie is “You should have left” is a but of a horror but more atmospheric than jump scare. Its like Triangle (the timeloop ship horror) and Room 1408. So if you liked those def check it out.
Thanks for this description, I loved Room 1408! I have to check this out then
Thank you. I'll check it out
Thanks man, I'm home sick from work today. Loved Room 1408 I'll give this a watch today.
Omgggggg thank you! Imma go find it
I've had this title saved for a long time, but never found a way to watch it without some kind of a subscription
Bro has immersive portals mod
That is an efficient use of space
It’s even crazier in the novel “House of Leaves.” The first noticed discrepancy measures by less of an inch difference. Can you imagine how maddening that would be?
So this isn't a movie version of House of Leaves?
@@anarchyannie5150it's "You Should Have Left"
@jurj97 😮 omg thanks that's all I wanted you know lol
@@gratox1730the main character in the book tried everything to prove it was an error, he hoped it was an error - but he grew a little obsessive with this idea ; he eventually caved and called his brother who he hasn’t talked to in years, together they were taking measurements and rewriting their math several times, sure. Enough. 1/4” difference every time.
The book is *chefs kiss* and I’m in my 8th reading of it this year.

Video game houses be like:
So like a dollarstore adaptation of “house of leaves”
“Ferb is really good at managing space”
Yes. They bought the SHED
This movie is actually really good for anyone wondering it's called "you should have left"
Tank you :)
Thank you a lot
Really it is the thing i would do if discover something wrong 😂
i fucking hate shorts that dont leave the name of the movie in the description so you have to scroll like 30 comments to actually find the title. thanks
Thnx
Why does this remind me of my dad. He was a real handyman like this guy.
How 'bout him?🥲
Holy friggin portal, holy fckn PHYSICS!
First of all i love how he keeos her involved while keeping everything at a level she can understand. Having her involved in the whole process without just saying "dont worry about it"
Secondly, the builder that can get me an extra 5 feet of space inside while keeping it smaller on the outside is gonna be my new best friend. Thats someone thats going somewhere.
I got you if you live in the NE U.S. 🤑
I find the lack of resolution to the scene very irritating
Kind of the point lol. Go watch the movie

Getting house of leaves vibes from this
I thought this guy was George Clooney for a second
Never realized an uneven wall could be so damn dramatic.😂
Such a good dad sending a little girl go by herself into a mysterious house that is bigger inside than out.
There’s a cool book you should check out called “The Basics of Critical Thinking”. It’s geared towards grades 4-7, so it might be a little tough for you to get through, but it’s worth it.
The room is a trapezoid!
Granted the fact that they came out of that same room before, I don't think that's much of an issue
Fr as a father of a 4 y/o baby girl my heart dropped when she went back inside
point?
Navidson was absolutely crumbled over 3/4 of an inch
Yeah, let's go back into the house that breaks math😂😂😂😂
bruh hold the tape straight ☠️
It would be shorter
Yeah I got nervous from the ptsd of my father screaming at me for leaving slack like that 😂😂
It’s a movie 😭
Doesn't matter it's still shorter
Then that means the actual measurement would be less than what he measured, which makes it more senseless.
Everyone: awe cute moment
ME: PULL THE TAPE TIGHT!!!!!!! 😂
Me too!!😂😂
if they pull it tight ittle be like 17 feet
"pull the tape tight"
MF you got the part that rolls not me
Im just confused because normally it pulls itself tigjt and i didnt here or see him put the lock on so maybe it has a weird lock or for some reason they used a fake measuring tape
I was thinking the same thing!
bruh, the layers of the wall add to make it look bigger on the outside
I thought he was measuring to see if a secret room was behind the wall but no. It’s the opposite

Thanks for title man,appreciate it
Salute to you and everyone who shares the name of the moive, the owners of these videos are too lazy to share the name.
Where do I watch?
You should ALWAYS ALWAYS put the the title on the comments section.
Then they don't get a bunch of comments with people asking for the title which boosts their views and gets more people asking for the title.
That’s not how comment baiting works, rookie!
You could just google the film based on actor in it you lazy ass gen z
You should have left bro
