Warning to anyone who might try this! I think knowing the temp of the water to use might be important and I’ve noticed no one has mentioned it when doing these videos. I boiled water (like I would use when doing the water color method) and I s*it you not my hair FELL OFF my wig 😭 In legit clumps. Again it may have been the super hot water but they aren’t telling us the full details. So just be careful you don’t disintegrate your wigs cause these 613’s aren’t cheap.
I mentioned it in the clip that got muted🤦🏽♀️ I never feel like boiling water is necessary honestly. Hot water from your sink is just fine you dont want to burn yourself 😂.
I tried this method and let it sit for 45 mins because I ran out of baking soda it actually doesn’t soak back in just rinse with shimmer lights and it back 613.
Sis, you saving my life with this. 😂 I love colored hair. Been wearing it since I was 13. I color hair once or twice a month. I have so many bundles that's about to catch this action. Thank you so much. You done put me on. 😘❤️
I knew exactly what you were talking talking with unevenness of the lace in the front. Lol but baby you slayed this wig. You taught me a whole new technique with stripping the color
She most definitely got the color out , but i can only imagine how drying and damaging that will be to an expensive wig .... i would recommend buying a color eraser that is meant for removing color from hair . They do make such a thing - don’t ruin your wigs ladies !
ong i have a 613 bob i cut and my lace was rippling in the front too i wanted to pull my damn hair out but i figured it outttt!!! its because the cut was straight, the lace would stretch and then ripple back. if you cut the hairline in zigzags (even the tiniest zigzags, i would say 1,5/2mm zigs and zags ) then it is mostly fixed! because the lace is probably not supposed to stretch but with a straight cut it tries to. and with zigzags every cut has a little bit of stretch in it. Good luck to all you beautiful babes i hope this also works for you!
I tried this method! (so first thank you!) I had to do three rounds, but my last round was 90 minutes long and that definitely did the trick. I want to try this method again, film it, and see if i can do less rounds with longer durations.
Yesss that “rippled” lace happened to me with my 613 frontal, I thought it was just the frontal I received! It’s sooo annoying make me not even wanna wear the wig. & it’s literally the only wig that does that so idk what I did wrong this time around 😩
Ouuu yes, this video really helped me out, I have the same colored wig but a tad bit darker and this color is getting old now, imma do this either today or tomorrow. Thank you for your help.
i love watching people reapply wigs because that melting a brand new lace front is like yeah how many times is that wig gonna be new with the lace fresh on sis.. thats like a washing detergent commercial where they wash clothes that have never been worn before. a scam! this look is everything 🔥🔥
Gorgeous 🔥🔥 I know this is an older video, hopefully you answer my question. Anyways, what conditioner you used after you was the color out to get the hair so beautiful?
My lace at the front waves like that all the time! Thank you! I thought I had stretched it out of shape somehow, turns out my stylist cut my lace wrong 😒 I'll try gluing my ear tabs in a different position to see it that helps 💜💜💜💜
You should have brushed it after each round or mid-round to reach the middle strands throughly, but overall this was SMART asf & really entertaining! shoutout to a new color remove technique
ok , i just have a question this method worked for me but my wig was left with alot of shampoo & dish soap still in it .. && it seriously wouldn’t come out .. did you have this issue ? & what did you do to fix it ?
Not dish detergent but laundry detergent and hot ass water will get that sucker right on out. Now that laundry detergent will dry out your extensions so you have to follow up w deep conditioning. I tried this on a kinky straight wig w that had blue and green rinse on it and it worked. Do not try on a hot glue gun wig though bc you WILL have to reconstruct it lol
I would love if you added the makeup routine to the video even if u do it before the wig i loveeeeeee the natural beats and u my color i want to see what you be using 😊
Hey hun I wonder if I can strip the color off my gray wig using this method … thank you much I hope it works I have a trip coming this weekend and everyone is boookeddd 😞
I always use at least half container of baking soda each round let it sit like 40 minutes each time sometimes it takes me 3 rounds and u need to like put it in the sink or something bigger to give it more room I dont boil the water make sure it's hot from the sink i wish i could show you the ones I've done comes in handy on a budget btw ily and your accent
So is there a reason why you didn’t use hair color remover to remove the color out ? Or were you just showing us a cheaper alternative to take color out ?
You are such a beautiful, talented young lady!!! God blessed them hands🙏. Your skills set you aside from what everybody else is doing on youtube thats the key! 🥰😘😉🙂😊🤗😍💕❤❣
How do you know what density to get? Like how to tell if it’s thin or thick? Does it go by the bundles? Or you weigh the wig ? Lol I hope I don’t sound too ignorant.
Density is usually regarding a full unit. Anything less than 130% is thin. For longer hair, I would recommend a higher density like 150% or 180%. For shorter hair, 130% - 150% is fine. It all depends your preference.
See. If this video would have come out like a week ago. It would have saved me an entire wig 🤦🏽♀️ I bleached it to get the black and pink out and I did it twice. It worked for all my other hair....but this hair...........fried. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
I did this, about 4 rounds and my wig is done now. Its dry as hellll and sheds badilyyyy. everytime i touch it literally a whole bunch of hair comes out. Any advice on this ?
Word bc baking soda strips of natural oil so doing it multiple times will make the hair dry u need to deep conditioner it let it sit for about an hour or even longer depending how damage the hair is
Her: don't mind my stomach I'm a lil fat Me in quarantine cooking and baking non stop:.....say more! Also me: Wait till this sh!t is done, it's over for you girls, lol!
You just taught us a whole new way to get color out 😩
Timani Harris 🤪👏🏽👏🏽
PERIODDDDD! No more color oops for me!
i use paul mitchell’s shampoo two & three clarifying shampoos mixed together . PERFECT for stripping color & buildup from hair in general 🙌🏽
Warning to anyone who might try this! I think knowing the temp of the water to use might be important and I’ve noticed no one has mentioned it when doing these videos. Lexii Bee might be due to the quality
I mentioned it in the clip that got muted🤦🏽♀️ I never feel like boiling water is necessary honestly. Hot water from your sink is just fine you dont want to burn yourself 😂.
Yupp! My hair (on my 613 wig) was coming out like I over-bleached it when I first tried this method like two years ago 😭😭😭
Yes this happened to me and the quality was great !
So how hot should the water be?
Make sure your flat iron is NOT too HOT because it WILL strip the color off of your wigs!
raye8405 very true!!
I tried this method and let it sit for 45 mins because I ran out of baking soda it actually doesn’t soak back in just rinse with shimmer lights and it back 613.
This is straight magic I can legit hug u thru this device, thank u for recording and editing this
Sis, you saving my life with this. 😂 I love colored hair. Been wearing it since I was 13. I color hair once or twice a month. I have so many bundles that's about to catch this action. Thank you so much. You done put me on. 😘❤️

I love the swoop more, especially with this color💜😍
Finallyyyyyy I’ve been waiting on a video like this for so long 😩 I’ve wasted so many wigs bc I wanted a new color
I love the over the eye look!! It was giving very much Aaliyah “More Than A Woman” purple vibes 😅😍
BeautifulDisaster Rightttt very urban!
She most definitely got the color out , but i can only imagine how drying and damaging that will be to an expensive wig .... i would recommend buying a color eraser that is meant for removing color from hair . They do make such a thing - don’t ruin your wigs ladies !
This is so pretty ! I wish people weren’t so judgmental in my town, I’d like to try something “new” 😃👍
Mimi Molina fuck their opinions do what you like

you look bomb in whatever color you do but this lavender is definitely my fav, 👏👏👏💕
Yes now I don’t have to waste money on a whole other wig thanks Paris ❤️
I tried this method! (so first thank you!) I had to do three rounds, but my last round was 90 minutes long and that definitely did the trick. I want to try this method again, film it, and see if i can do less rounds with longer durations.

use shimmer lights next time after round 4
You literally saved me from my crisis with my wig omg! You are magical 💜
I like both looks, but I like the swoop
I was just tryna figure out how i was going to dye this hair from teal to red without having to dye back black first 😭 thank you for this 😭
The swoop was so cute with the hair😍
You deserve a special place in heaven for this 😭
love how honest you are about the shipping lol cant wait to try the hair !
Ouuu yes, this video really helped me out, I have the same colored wig but a tad bit darker and this color is getting old now, imma do this either today or tomorrow. Thank you for your help.
You can do it in one setting if you boil the water.. Gotta be hot hot and itll all come out.. I went from lime green to orange..
Yasss love the color😍.. I really do enjoy watching your videos😘
i love watching people reapply wigs because that melting a brand new lace front is like yeah how many times is that wig gonna be new with the lace fresh on sis.. thats like a washing detergent commercial where they wash clothes that have never been worn before. a scam! this look is everything 🔥🔥
over the gave an edgier look, but the swoop just did it fa me ! 😍😍😍😍
Gorgeous 🔥🔥 I know this is an older video, hopefully you answer my question. Anyways, what conditioner you used after you was the color out to get the hair so beautiful?
This is my favorite color Paris 😍 this is pretty, gorgeous and beautiful on you 😍😍😍😍😍
Krissyz Rosez thank you babe❤️❤️❤️
The swoop, this color is sooooo cute on you!
Can u please do a video on how to clean up extra glue on skin after applying the lace
My lace at the front waves like that all the time! Thank you! I thought I had stretched it out of shape somehow, turns out my stylist cut my lace wrong 😒 I'll try gluing my ear tabs in a different position to see it that helps 💜💜💜💜
That's really a cute color 😍❤️😍... I love the in the face!!!
Paris omg thank you for this video! , do you literally apply the adhesive on top of your makeup babes?
Im happy you enjoyed it! And yes literally right on top of it👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I think that hot comb need a lil baking soda herself 😂😂 new subscriber though !
boiling kettle water and a mixing spoon works good too!! cuts my time in half.
yass sis put us on game🧡💜
I didn’t catch what color dye you used to get the purple does anyone know ?
Was the hair dry after washing it so many times?
Never heard about using baking soda, thanks! 🙏 Going to try this on some nano ring extensions I dyed blue
lets get into that laceeee thooo , shit is MELTEDDDDDD ok !
Sis nearly on 100k🥳🥳🥳
queen_x sonia almosttt😩
I love you for this video I been stuck with this orange !!
This was so informative!!!
Where did you get your rhinestone pcs set from ??? I need need neeeeed ....
Whole video I’m looking at those nails💚
You should have brushed it after each round or mid-round to reach the middle strands throughly, but overall this was SMART asf & really entertaining! shoutout to a new color remove technique
ok , i just have a question this method worked for me but my wig was left with alot of shampoo & dish soap still in it .. && it seriously wouldn’t come out .. did you have this issue ? & what did you do to fix it ?
Can this work with bleached hair, i.e hair bleached & dyed from 1b ? Thanks x
ibukun gambino yes it definitely should
Definitely the swoop
I did this method but my hair was shedding do you think it was because of the quality or could it be the temp of the water I put it In?
It's the temperature. Don't go so hot next time. Boiling hot water and baking soda will make the hair fall out in clumps. Just try hot sink water
@@Dollfac3nana thank you so much
does it work on hair that wasn't previously 613?👀😭
boiling the hair works well also
and i bleached the hair where color was still on a little
Not dish detergent but laundry detergent and hot ass water will get that sucker right on out. Now that laundry detergent will dry out your extensions so you have to follow up w deep conditioning. I tried this on a kinky straight wig w that had blue and green rinse on it and it worked. Do not try on a hot glue gun wig though bc you WILL have to reconstruct it lol
After you dyed the wig, did you wash it one more time after that?
they have a hair color remover in Sally's from the one n only brand it's way more effective and less work🤷♀️
That’s a lot of chemicals though
Yessss honey it came out beautiful
I would love if you added the makeup routine to the video even if u do it before the wig i loveeeeeee the natural beats and u my color i want to see what you be using 😊
titadadiva7 girl if i did this video would’ve been like an hour😂😂😂
I gotta catch up I miss your video 😘😍 Always slay ‼️
Kieshia Clark 😘😘😘
You so pretty and you should sell custom colored wigs or do hair if you don’t already
but where do you get the hair on your head from 😍
Can I used this method to strip black hair hair to a lighter blonde it’s like a orange color now though will this routine save me or no?
Hey hun I wonder if I can strip the color off my gray wig using this method … thank you much I hope it works I have a trip coming this weekend and everyone is boookeddd 😞
Does it matter if you water color the hair or actually applied the color with the applicator brush?
What kind of shampoo that is ? & How long do you let it sit for each round ?
So when you already have your wig on do you just not do your makeup? Or you take your wigs off every night?
Is the water the whole time regular water or… the whole time you used hot water ?
34:02 lolllll😆💜
Beautiful beautiful I love ittttt 💜💜💜💜
I always use at least half container of baking soda each round let it sit like 40 minutes each time sometimes it takes me 3 rounds and u need to like put it in the sink or something bigger to give it more room I dont boil the water make sure it's hot from the sink i wish i could show you the ones I've done comes in handy on a budget btw ily and your accent
do you have to use platinum dish soap
Did you condition the wig after removing the original color?
So is there a reason why you didn’t use hair color remover to remove the color out ? Or were you just showing us a cheaper alternative to take color out ?
I love how it turned out and all the tips and tricks you shared!

Miss nani merci bcp
Yes I just did this and the same happened to me no need for really hot water
I DID THE SAME METHOD AND GIRL IT WORK
IT DIDNT WORK FOR ME😔 WIG IS STILL ORANGE
After the 4th round wouldn’t purple shampoo get it out?
Would it take out the black out of the hair???
You are such a beautiful, talented young lady!!! God blessed them hands🙏. Your skills set you aside from what everybody else is doing on youtube thats the key! 🥰😘😉🙂😊🤗😍💕❤❣
I loovvveeee the swoop 😍😍
