The Storyline: The 2011 St. Louis Rams face a abysmal season with a 2-14 record, dealing with severe injuries on the roster and questionable coaching decisions. With head coach Steve Spagnuolo and general manager Billy Devaney fired, the Rams will set sail through uncertain tides this upcoming season. Despite the many adversities the Rams faced this season, the DeSpags regime has built an excellent foundation for this team, particularly on defense, and I would like to thank them for their services.

They have good players, last session was just filled with injuries, I see a better outcome this year, not amazing but it doesn't get much worse than last session.

The most impressive thing about this video is that you managed to find 11 minutes of highlights outside of the Saints games. I would have guessed somewhere between 0 and 30 seconds. Also, picking off Rex Grossman is not a highlight, a highlight is something that is exciting and unusual or a display of great talent, Grossman throws picks like he plays for the other team.
Man our team was good especially our defense! Its just our offense never capitalized on anything :(
Chris Long is getting better every year, our defense should be good next year as long as we stay healthy, Bradford just needs a target to throw to I would love Lloyd to stay and draft Blackmon but will see what happens
I think the Rams should have kept Spags as a DC, he brings blitzes from unpredictable angles which is what made his D so good. What many fail to realize is that last season having corner after corner go down for the Rams prevented Spags from bringing those crazy blitzes because receivers would get open all day against our 5th string corners lol. No run blitz = no run D = Last in the league against the run. But to answer your question yes I think Spags is a valuable piece at DC, HC not so much.
After watching these highlights nobody can say that the RAMS don't have heart!!!!!!!!! GO RAMS
just imagine if he had a DECENT o-line........he would be the most talked about RB in the NFL. I cant wait until 2013 when they draft for offensive lineman and a few good WR. We are going to be in the playoffs in 2014 if not the superbowl. Mark my words.

We had three great quarterbacks this year. I don't care if who's throwing the ball, Bradford, Feely, and Clemons are all good. I'll always love the Rams!
I will admit the Niners schedule was not as bad as a some teams last year & this year will be harder.I enjoyed the conversation yesterday,you seem to have a lot of knowledge about football & I respect that.Ive noticed that a lot of Raider fans dont know much about football.I ask them questions about their draft picks,most of the time they cant answer them & they just start yelling "silver & black" or were going all the way this year.....They make me laugh.

I've been a Rams fan since 1999. When the Rams started sucking after 2004, most people here switched over to root for the Chiefs, but I didn't. I'll stay by my Rams. St. Louis, Los Angeles, Cleveland, wherever I will support my team.

@TLOWNSU hell yeah. Been a Rams fan since about the same time, and i'm not going anywhere i don't care how bad they suck, or where they are. And with Jeff Fisher we should be all good to go. Can't wait for the season to start.

I think the rams need to bring Lloyd back he is hard working WR. Now, they should not trade their pick. They pick up blakemon and you have weapons for a decent qb. They need o line and some cb. I'm excited we might go .500 in 2012 which is a huge leap for the rams. Go rams!!!!

@mejia2128 I couldnt agree more, look at the Texans for example. They got Wade Philips and J.J. Watt, Jonathen Joseph and a few more players and went from 6-10 to 10-6. But I gotta disagree with the injury part. The Texans lost Matt Schuab, Mario Williams, Arian Foster, etc. and still made playoffs.
If we keep brandon lloyd and pick up blackmon say hello to a top receiving corps with a stellar qb. with lloyd as #1, blackmon #2, amendola #3 and salas as #4 receiver that is a great group of guys to catch the ball. I also think pettis is a good player and with more practice and nfl experience under his belt he will come up and make some key plays when we absolutely need him. plus steven jackson who can run the ball and go out for short routes like a receiver that is deadly offense. i need to say one thing, and it's not that the rams haven't certainly taken and used the west coast offense, but it's not like every other team hasn't done it as well. With that being said anyone having a conversation about the the possibility for success happening for the 9ers being lacking are foolish. The 9ers will be a dominant force (health permitting) not just in the division, but are a deff contender to go back to the nfc championship and maybe even further.

Steve was a good coach. i thought we shouldve just fired Bill Devaney and get an offensive coordinator similar to Pat Shurmer. Devaney was making terrible decisions long before Steve got there

Ya I remember your comments on my vids, I just don’t make videos being busy with life these days. I’m still a Rams fan too but the NFL as an organization and their decision making in recent years waned my emotional attachment to the team.

People always put down this team. We have had very unlucky injuries especially last year with 4 of our CB out with injurys. The season with Bradford we went .500. There is a light at the end of the tunnel especially now with cortland finnegan, brockers, these young fast WR and all these draft pick we stole for next year and the year after. We also stole the Packers C and Pro Bowler Kendal langford at DE. We always need help on O-line since Pace is gone and now its looking good and the D-line
Wow after watching this video, I would of thought the Rams won the Super Bowl, not a 2-14 season. Hope Fisher is the answer to our question we have been asking these last 7 or so years!!1

What irritates me is everyone says we need to trade bradford but why hes our franchise QB hes better then most QBs in the nfl..... I love me some rams!!!
So at 14, who would you have picked? If not Brockers, I would have picked David DeCastro but I think Brockers is a good pick. He will call for double teams which will lead to 1 person being on Quinn and Long which means they will have big years. If Brockers isnt double teamed, he will flush the pocket which also lead to sacks from Long and Quinn.
@SuperstarLB24 They are close to a deal but they have to cut people first to have enough cap. :) JL55 will be a Ram longer.

So your saying your team was plagued with injury's....The reason for that is the Rams coaching staff failed at conducting a proper training camp & the Rams were grossly out of shape when they went onto the field.The Niners had almost no injury's last year because they worked hard to get into shape....Sam Bradford looked better his rookie year,last year he looked "horrible"....Will he be plagued with injurys throughout his career??.YES,If the Rams keep having weak mini camps & training camps!!

thats the way of the world though isn't it. Someone has a great inventive and trans-formative idea and becomes successful with it, and everybody around them tries to cash in on the idea. I know I'm off on a tangent but play along. Christopher Nolan directed Batman Begins back in 05 a number of years before "Origin Story" was a big deal. He has huge success and now everything is going back to an origin story. The point is to remember where it came from. So lets throw a thx to the great bill walsh

Oh man I've been against the hiring of Gregg Williams when it was still rumors. Then I saw Alex Smith torch their D. Then came the bounty, I get that the Rams need to play with more of an edge so I like that we got a guy that will run is mouth every play (Finnegan), but having Gregg Williams is just too far. In fact Spags going to the Saints will be great for proving to the world that the Saints aren't "dirty" because Spags has always been known as the good guy that players love.
Bradford doesn't suck the receivers do only danny amendola and the 2 rookies are the only ones worth keeping
