So I’ve had these for 2 days…great product BUT the battery life is short IMO. From the time I left in the the am thru music playing and the occasional video record I had to recharge them twice (both times I ran them down to 15% 1st charge 20m gave me about 3 hours. 2nd charge lasted about an 1.5 hours) before returning home it was about a 9 hour day.
Those glasses look really nice on you! I agree about the battery life. The meta app rapidly depletes the battery of the glasses for some reason while using the app.
The battery life is fine.. You just need to put them in the case so they can recharge them when you really dont need them. Its charges really fast

I think so - for everything from translating signs and menus to identifying things. I hope to visit Japan in the next year maybe. Enjoy.

Yes.. you can say, "Ok Meta". Without saying "Hey Meta", or "Ok Meta" it won't react or respond.
“I expected better battery life” where in these glasses do you think there is room for a bigger battery?
was hoping for the same - they could have tried to run a battery around the lenses or throughout the body
Firmware updates can’t be used to increase battery life .. don’t always need another battery
