What a cute idea :) The only thing I might have done differently was to maybe use some small sized yarn for the braid to make it look like an actual braid. I've tried mixed media once a long time ago and I know people use all kinds of things, so yarn might be fun :)

Absolutely love this. My sister's room is all Disney princess themed and I am always crafting so I am definitely gonna make some of these for her wall. The flow braid was such a fun idea and the dustpan has been a common tool artists are using in thier pours. I love the braid and the flowers.
I also just got a cricut so there's tons of more options now that i have that.
PS invest in some posca markers or some acrylic paint pens. They will change your life for those small details and touchups for lettering.
You can also place two or more colors of the frosting and in a larger piping bag to get some hombre multicolor petals. The paste is expensive but you can also get the caulk from the dollar tree and color it to do the same thing. It just crumbles more than the medium will.
