Watched many demos of these. Been lusting after them since introduction. Compared to other solid wood acoustics and the rare American ,made in the $1600 price range these guitars sound like winners to me. Ss other commenters have said, I loved how you played a lot pretty chord progressions that all of us can play. You play things that ring out the tonal quality of the guitars in a way we all can relate to as we've played those same sort of riffs on every guitar we've ever owned. I especially liked the sound of the twinkle sequence, which is my name for the D major sus hammer on and pull off. Although usually only 4 strings involved it is hard chord to get sound exactly right due to the small "imperfection" in the ration of note to frequency. I lust for an American Taylor (and American Gibson, Martin, ,..). I had a 714ce that is gone now, But it produced the most magical sounds I have ever produced on any acoustic guitar. I am hearing the same family traits but a more rough around the edges younger sibling. Call me old fashioned but I am not bought into Ovangkol. They sound good now but I don't have any history with them. Whereas Spruce and Mahogany I know and understand how they are temperamental and how well they age their tone into perfection. And I love Mahogany. So AD27e looks like a contender for my next guitar. But again, great video with relatable, beautiful chords that demonstrate the experience and tone of playing these guitars. I like Black guitars so I may look into that too. But despite slight price bump that AD27e speaks to me,

You really showcase the sound of these guitars very well. Not too much show-offy solos and blues licks no one ever plays. Just nice chords we, lesser mortals, can achieve. Awesome guitars! I absolutely love the bass which is very prominent without it overtaking the middle and top.

I notice that they ES2 system sounds with very low volume, it requires more gain than usual, wich can lead to background noise

I got to try an AD at a shop today and it sound too metallic for my tastes. Granted, i tried it right after trying a Taylor Builders edition which sounded and played like heaven. Maybe i’ll give them another try after seeing this demo.

The song that starts at 5:29 is off the hook! I could listen to it over and over again! It's so good, I'm going to try to learn to play it myself. Sounds like an alternate tuning or something though. These guitars sound amazing by the way.

Thanks Markion! Yes, these guitars are superb! And the tuning is Drop D, by the way.

Jack I’m thinking about buying the AD27 but I have one concern.
This series comes with the Aerocase.
Please give me your opinion. Will the Aerocase hold humidity as well as a hard case?
    Thank you - great video.

In another video I saw on these guitars, they said the case can be used to humidify in.

I just bought the ad27. It's a great guitar and I love the satin finish. As for the Aerocase it's great and the inside is exactly like a hardcase. Honesty it's a hard case wrapped with fabric I guess.

@@WS-bk7uu Have you seen in person? It's not a cheap gig bag by any means. It is very well insulated, and the guitar fits like a glove. With that being said you could always sell the case and buy another one. I would not let a case hold you back if you like the sound.

I bought a Gibson j-45 Rosewood in 2004 and thought it would be my one and only. I was definitely missing out due to my blind brand loyalty. It was like trying to golf with only one club. Or paint with only one brush.
