Mac’s first session. He’s an unhandled 2 year old from the Colville, WA reservation that belongs to a client and is here for gentling. Looks and acts like an appendix QH to me. Roped him, got him leading softly, worked a little on longing and yielding hq, desensitizing to the flag, brushing with the long handled brush and some hands on petting. Both sides. Then I’m going to let him wear a drag line for a couple days. He’s a very nervous, sensitive type guy but he’s super smart and tries really hard.
