    Certainly sez something about your workmanship when a 10 year old restoration looks so awesome! Well done!

    It's a testament to your skills that a decade after you rebuilt it it still looks probably better than when it left the factory floor

    What a beauty, must have sold rather quickly and I have seen videos of your work, often making things better than new. I'd think it went for close to 30k being all rebuilt. I've got a 3a that looks just like it but maybe not quite as nice down in Florida, it's a great 4wd that goes anywhere.

    What a beautiful Willys! I've never heard a 6 volt start so well. Definitely looks like it just came out of the factory. It says a lot if it's been 10-12 years and the paint still looks that great. Hope you are doing well Brian, thanks for sharing!

    hello, really nice Jeep! was the dual tank a factory option? Or did you have to remove the tool box? How can you have a rear PTO and an overdrive? doesn't that go in the same place at the back of the transfer case? thanks a lot

    • @metalshaperJeep
      @metalshaperJeep  3 роки тому +1

      dual tanks were not a factory option. I removed tool box when building this body tub, then built a custom fuel tank for passenger side. Rear pto and overdrive is common. Overdrive gets installed, then a special adapter to accept the pto is installed on back of overdrive unit and pto bolted to it.

      @@metalshaperJeep Thanks, seems like an option they would have had. I'm about to make a offer on a January 46 built 2a with the pto and column shift. It's a really nice original unmolested jeep, still has the counterweight mounted and original bug screen and hood welting and the long horn. Also pasture green. Was checking the Haggerty guide trying to get an idea of prices. Beautiful restoration btw.
