C64 Star Trek [1985, Share Data] - longplay. All Klingon Battlecruicers Destroyed.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
Ooops! wrong story. But anyway some time ago there were two great space series in TV. First was action packed, second more about science and interactions beetween races or solving intellectual riddles. I liked both of them.
Here I present the old C64 game which gives us possibility to take command of Enterprise starship. Exactly like captain Kirk. So: Warp Speed 6 !

I generally like what GFX they were able to do in text mode. This game seems to be inspired by Stellar Explorer, but C64 got better feeling IMHO.

Oh, the memories. 🎮 It can be emulated under Batocera or Retropie.

I didn't know about Batocera. But sad stuff -> most comfortable retro machine today is PC with somekind of emu.

Had this game, but another one you could never finish. Either the Enterprise would get destroyed, or you ran out of time to complete the missions.

Thx. Was playing this one a lot in childhood. Keypoint is using long range scanners, it gets very easy and mechanical there (until something very unexpected happends).

🤔I had a much better version of STAR TREK on my old Commodore 64.The difference was you battled on the Full monitor screen plus your Proton Torpedoes you could actually see firing at You or at your enemy Klingon warships.The proton torpedoes were Red while everything else was Black & White.. Also you were able to go WARP SPEED once you punched in your destination for the Enterprise. The version I had I believe was a 1983 or 1984 release of the game.
