Been a lot of rain here in North Florida. Friday we had two EF2 tornadoes hit us in Tallahassee, Fl! I was without power for 12 hours, put a stop to my modeling for that day. 😮
Apple Green is a 1936 Ford color, and it looks almost exactly like your model. I like it! I have noticed quite often Tamiya paint looks very different than the paint on the bottom of the jar and/or on the cap.
I knew Ford had a green close to this color but didn't know it was called Apple Green. As far as Tamiya’s caps matching the actual color, that has happened to me once before
I like the color. Car looks good. Quit punishing yourself and push that car together. You're killing it with your builds. Wish I could get motivated again. Finish that baby up!
We've had a few pretty (if cool and windy) days here, but the forecast as far ahead as the phone can see is wet and windy 😮💨 The 36 is looking great, brother 😁 Stay dry and safe ✌️😊
@@olezippi Ok. Given the darker color of the paint I had assumed you used a grey or black primer. Given you used white primer, it should not be so dark. That is just weird.
🛻 Hey Zippi. I'm not a fan of the colour . The model needs something. A racing stripe , flames , a big number on the doors . Something like large purple poke-dotes on the body. 😉 Just funning with you. Have a great day.
Did you have a darker base coat down that could be why the green is off so much. I actually like the color how it came out I would personally build it to look like a fighter jet hot rod but that's just me..lol
Color looks like an old Ford color. Fits the car it definitely is darker then what it looks in the bottle. Nice work zippi will look nice with lots of chrome.
We are getting some of that rain here in north central fl as well. Im liking that green bud i think once its all together its gonna be awesome! I look forward to following along
Im in central FL and its been raining here to. I kinda like the green. Its not a normal shade of green, makes it stand out. I think once you get it together itll be fine. Any chance i can get a shop card if you have any? I dont have a card to send back though. Sorry. Anyway, love the builds!

I hear ya man and feel your pain. My backyard has never been this flooded in the 35+ years we've lived here.

Thank's man. I hear ya, I'm gonna get after it.
Like the color on the 36, it’s looking good !
Thanks man.

I appreciate ya Buddy. About the same here. The 10 day forecast is very wet.
I think it'll look good when it's all together, my last 2 cars I did I thought I didn't like the paint, but after they went together I liked them.
Thank's. Much appreciated.
Looks good to me, for green
Thank's Henry. I appreciate your feedback.
Nice build so far 😅
Thanks Daniel. I appreciate it.
Zippi I like the color and put a big white star on the doors and a set of Artillery wheels on it and make it a ratrod❤😊
Much obliged man. I hear ya, that would work.
What color primer did you use on the ‘36? The color looks ok to me, and I am not a fan of green. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your input Mike. I primed it with Tamiya white surface primer.

@@michaelcooke2559 I hear ya Michael. Not sure why it's so dark.
complain, complain! It's a model car. to build, for you, to have fun with!
👍👍👍

I appreciate ya watching dude. Hey, I do have some purple poke-dotes.

I appreciate your feedback. It was primed with Tamiya’s white surface primer.
Yep, been raining a lot here as well.
Yup, it has been pouring down rain here all day. All the water bugs and earthworms are showing up in my garage.
Not good zippi 😎
I hear ya man.
I dig the color, Zippi. Then again I kinda like colors that are not run of the mill. Looking good, man.
Thank's Rob. I appreciate ya coming by and giving your input dude.
Color looks like an old Ford color. Fits the car it definitely is darker then what it looks in the bottle. Nice work zippi will look nice with lots of chrome.
Thanks Phil. Yeah, the cap sure doesn't represent what's in the bottle. I'm hoping once assembled all the other colors will help out.
I like Shawn's idea of a military star on it, the color has that military vibe, 😎👍
I appreciate your input Buddy. Thanks.
Not a fan of the color either Zippi but the paint job looks flawless, It is a good color if you were building a factory stock. LOL. Ron
I hear ya man. I appreciate the feedback Ron.

Much obliged man. Yeah these rain is causing havoc all over the map.
Looking good. Flattened out, the color reminds me of the old Fatigues, the ones before BDUs. Once cleared, I think it’ll look good on that ‘36.
I appreciate ya stopping by Don. I hear ya about the fatigue color. It's already been cleared so WYSIWYG.
It'll do. Looks like an Army staff car color. Not quite Olive Drab though.
That's kinda what I was thinking. Thanks for the visit.
I Like it, I'd call that color more like a Apple Green, My 41 Willys is a couple shades lighter of that green
Yes Sir. It sure is a different color than what I was expecting.
I think it looks good, Zippi. Tamiya bottle and spray caps sometimes don't match the color of the paint.
Thank's Will. Yeah, this color is way off. Tamiya needs to up their QC a little better.
I think she looks good Zippi. Shawn had a good suggestion,
Thank's Dan. I hear ya man.
Zip it doesn’t look bad did you clear it? It looks like the jar says XF which is a flat I believe?
Thank's Woodman. It is a flat paint. I've used these flat paints many times. Once your hit them with clear they get their shin.
I've had colors dry different than the color they are wet. Maybe it will grow on you as she goes together. I'll be watching
Thanks Michael. To late to change now right.
Doris Day Once Sang Kay Sera Sera What Will Be Will Be. I Hope The Weather Will Get Better .
Thank's. She did Jim. Well...the weather looks pretty wet through Saturday.
I think once you get it all together that color will look nice. Have a great week!!
Thank's man. I'm with ya there man. I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst.
I think once you clear it the colors gonna pop I like it
Thanks Ruane. Well, it's as good as it's going to get as it's already been cleared
Have alot of rain here also love the green color looks awesome
Thank's Brian. The color is growing on me but very slow.
My opinion, that color looks good on that car. I DIG IT
I hear ya. Thank man.
Why not try a test spoon with that color and go over it with those clear colors you like. Maybe something good will happen. 😎👍
I like Shawn's idea!
I hear ya man.
I appreciate the idea Mike but it's a little to late for paint changes. Thanks man.

Just seen the bit in your description about requesting shop cards. Getting ready to send you an email. Thanks!
Thank's Chris. It is starting to look much better as I'm getting more of the assembly done. Found your email in my Spam. I'm working on the Shop Card.
Got your email Chris. Shop Card will be going out today. Thanks man.
Thanks Zippi!
Looking good so far zippi
Thank's Michael. I appreciate ya checking in on me dude.
that color looks great on hot rods
Thank's man. We'll see how it looks once assembled.

Much obliged Bubba.
Stay dry buddy lol.
