Seeing the missile strike destroying raccoon city made me feel upset that Jill,Barry, and Chris failed to save the city but it makes it worse if you think that there are a few people that didn’t leave the city yet and was possibly killed by the missiles
@@sainttan It's a no-win situation; you either clear the entire city of survivors and letting the t-Virus spread beyond Raccoon City or you destroy the city and kill any potential survivors trapped inside.

There is no such thing as Resident Evil 3 remake. They butchered that Game to the point it's unrecognizable they did so good with Resident Evil 2 remake why did he have to fuck up the third one they messed up Nemesis messed up the sequence for nemesis you cannot revisit none of your favorite places from the original one it's just like a middle finger to us fan saying fuck you

Outbreak has the best ending, so dramatic, specialy if the characters die or are left behind, it make you feel the sorrow and didpair of raccoon citizen, and the music, it is like your own real city being destroyed
Outbreaks destruction is untouchable imo. The whole presentation is just awesome. Despair, Sorrow and pure devastation, combined with the absolute certainty, that some people were still in there when the missiles struck.
Raccoon City is still the most tragic thing in the series because you know there were at least a few survivors still trapped in the city, but there was no saving them. The city was too far gone.
Raccoon City was like a biohazardous version of Chernobyl and its nuclear destruction was pretty much like Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Before 1998, Raccoon City was just an average american city that most people probably would not have even heard of... But during and after 1998, Raccoon City will forever be remembered by the whole world for the zombies, mutant abominations and eventual nuclear destruction.
Not so fun fact: The death toll from Raccoon City is similar to the estimated death tolls of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuke attacks. All cities saw around 100,000 dead.

To everyone outside the city, it was reported that an unknown virus was spread through the city but neither the CDC or the US government would explain further as they would be implicated, only placing alleged blame on Umbrella. While reports of a "cannibal disease" did get out of the city a few weeks before it's destruction, claims of "zombies/BOWs" were considered tall tales and any footage of said events were suppressed by Umbrella as well as the US government. The truth about the rioting actually being zombies caused by the Umbrella developed t-Virus didn't get revealed until 2012/2013.
In my opinion outbreak did the destruction better its way more cinematic and the music gets it (emph) perfect it’s my opinion though so you don’t agree fine by me.
It's epic for sure but also liked the original's more sorrowful music used. Makes me feel sadness over the enormous loss of life and that Raccoon City, the central character throughout the original trilogy, which gave us arguably the richest lore in the whole franchise is being completely eradicated.

Barry accessed hidden technology to the fastest helicopter in existence capable of out running the explosion and hours later they all died of mass radiation exposure. The end.

There were several strikes, none of which were nuclear as far as I can recall. The weapons used were thermobaric "vacuum bombs". These are more useful for killing enemies in fortified positions, as they suck the oxygen out and replaces it with delicious burning fuel. Nukes would leave radioactive fallout, and napalm bombing would leave underground areas intact, so vacuum bombing must have sounded like a good idea at the time. The main detonation site does look awfully mushroom-y though, not gonna lie.

@@TheFlailingFox unfortunately it was a nuclear bomb because nuclear/atomic bombs creates a mushroom cloud because the detonating bomb suddenly releases a great deal of heat rapidly, which interacts with the cooler surrounding air and makes it less dense.

What could have survived that inferno. And me and the wife talked about the bombing to and just imagine. A friend or family member is going to racoon to meet with a friend or family member and after not hearing from them you turn on the news and town has just been destroyed... Or god forbid you were out of town and your family was back there
