You guys do great. Stay safe. My daughter (7) loves this style cause she feels like you guys are skyping with her. Thanks and cant wait for the next one! By far my favorite Dnd to watch.
Great sessions! I know this week is off, but I’m looking forward to the next faction! I still want the Falling Fire most, but I was rewatching Dungeons of Drakkenheim recently, and I realized that it’s never explained where Queen Lenore gets her fancy clothes. I think it would be funny if when you play as Hooded Lanterns, you have to go into the city and risk life and limb just on some whim of Lenore looking for like a fancy dress or jewelry she’ll only use like once.
This was amazing and so different! Dell was amazing. I am so looking forward to the Silver Order! OH and the Queen of Thieves, of course; I don't know how Monty pulls it off but every appearance is always so golden.
Heck yes guys! Great episode! I have also been rewatching the old episodes and I’ve come to the conclusion that “The Dutches”, AKA the ruler of the fish people, is the NPC/Unexplored storyline I would most like to see explored in these short campaigns. Perhaps in the proposed Ratling episode yes yes yes?
These are so great. I'm loving them and wouldn't be sad to put Shadows on hold until getting back together is safe. Thank you for striving to produce the highest quality videos possible. Thank you for all the great content that you guys put together.
I really thought Dell was gonna be like 'sucks to be you guys' and leave xD awesome episode! well roleplayed by everybody! I would still love to see the falling fire next, children of the fallen flame ignited by righteous zeal after they have been wronged once more by the bandits.
Jill is so great at being in nuances of her character. Just after escaping the court yard, that line, “We should COOL the Castlin, referenced a conversation the characters had when her character did not understand some of the slang being used. These kind of details are the thing I remember after a session and wished I had role played out.
OMG I laughed at the first episode and it continued through to crying in the second episode! You guys are fantastic and can not wait until the next session. There are so many how the f or what the f moments in here it is unbelievable. I watched this in one day and I am not in shame of loosing this amount of time in my life to spend it with you guys. great show and hope things continue going well for you.
I saw it yesterday on Twitch, I just wanted to congratulate you, great job it was really fun to watch. DMing and Role Playing excellent as always. A little sad to have to wait two weeks for next episode. Luckily I have only seen the second season so I have more than enough content to watch.
I love it! I've set up an NPC for murder by planting evidence on a guard, and my son fell from a ceiling slamming both knees into the head of an enemy killing it using fall damage and slow fall. I have appreciate it that. Though I wish Joe would have bonus action Dash to pull that rope for another attempt to get the guy up further...he also has powerful build so he should have had something for that. Still...they pulled it off and this is why Artificer's can be so damn good.
Been watching and loving your videos since last November, definitely the best source of entertainment and learning I've found! And special thanks for mentioning the grocery stores front line people during this, you are the first to mention us, everyone forgets about us.
I love how they make things worse for themselves on the regular. Every time they do something beneficial, they get excited and impulsive and do something that makes the situation even worse. I know Monty enjoys watching them be their biggest obstacle lol
That was an amazing series! I really loved the characters portrayed this time too, and seeing a much more 'evil-esque' campaign. Fantastic job everyone! This was exciting and I love that it happened during the original campaign. Really makes the world feel alive and interesting!
Monty fucking dying at 2:26:23 made my day holy shit that was great! XD Man, I love this group especially Dell. She's so badass and the failure to understand simple metaphors sent me wheezing as well. And also goddamn the Queen of Thieves is such a baller! She went in there with such confidence knowing she'd get the gold and even promised it to the team knowing full well she's badass enough to get it. And she's got such charm!
Game Starts at 5:10. And Falling Fire next pls. 😊 Thanks again for this during these crazy times 😜 Lol I love how Monty Is constantly getting the party with the Queen of Thieves
Awesome characters and playing. Also, 3 level 7 characters managing to directly interact with a thieves' guild master for a 30,000 GP reward mission, very impressive. Players paid with their own money, nice. As a guy who mainly played rogues and a DM who put most of his work, blood, and sweat into each campaign's underworld, I applaud this. Bad guy vs. bad guy is always fun, especially when ambition meets someone kind of insulted that some grand betrayal didn't happen. Oh, and that driver, killed via a poison that disintegrated the insides of his mouth and dying right there... I'd be afraid of being around that guy. The mist from his mouth would still have active poison. Sneaky DM rolls the party never learned about, I assume... the open mouth would have been an accidental trap... D&D version of concentrated cyanide... very nice (sorry, cruel) poison.
Sorry I missed the live showing... watching now and thanks to everyone at DungeonDudes (and dudette) these are quite cathartic for me. Since I have no game anymore.
