      If its a true breeding then it can be parental True breeding means the parent always produces the same types of offspring no matter dominant or recessive

    People would do well to take note that being >50% does not, in fact, mean that they must be on different chromosomes. They could simply be higher than 50cM away from each other physically on the same chromosome.

    One doubt....
    Is cross over genes (genes not linked) means, the genes are present in different chromosome?
    Or else they are in same chromosome and sitting far apart from each other?

    Sit to determine the parentals ...font we check which has the max no of progenies ? So according to that sc+ ec+ vg+ and sc ec vg+ must be the parentals ? Then the entire calculations will be changed ...plz help

    Here we have considered the wild type (+++) and mutant type (sc ec vg) are the parental type. But that might not be the case always right? how do we figure that out.

    How can the third result, which is a recombinant result, be greater than the first two results, which are the parental results? I believe the figures of the first and third cases have been unknowingly swapped.
