Everyone thinks the pictures get sent to your phone, WRONG, Spypoint's send the pictures to your account on their website, which you can access from anywhere, (laptop, desktop or cellphone). I had issues with picture transmission, proper firmware updating fixed that (expand the zip file when copy/paste the firmware update it's at the top of the menu). Took me a few minutes to figure that out. 4 of 4 problem cameras now working properly.
FYI The camera didn't update. You have to extract the zip files to a folder and transfer the files that were unzipped to the SD CARD. looks like you only transferred the zip file you downloaded with out extracting the files with in to the SD card. The color it should show is the orange light flickering for 20 to 30 seconds. After the flickering stops it will begin to connect to the cellular network color will show green The red light on top of the camera should not even flash. What you thought was updating was just the camera connecting to the cell network. If you haven't already. Try doing a full format on the SD card, transfer the extracted files about seven files to the SD CARD. Good luck. I don't see in the app where you can set a number of times you get updates. The transfer time comes with a set transfer time 1-12 time a day or when there is activity on the camera. Remember that cell coverage isn't always an issue with the camera we all learned with cell phones. Cell carriers also do updates and can interrupt cell connections especially in rural areas regularly. I see changes with connectivity with the trail cams and it may also be because of the weather.
DO NOT waste your money on these doors stops. I had five of them and they are not reliable. I had several discussions with support trying to get them to send photos that were on the card. They finally admitted that it is possible to have a 90% signal and STILL not get a successful transmission of photos. They take a decent picture but what's the point if you cant get your pics. The pricing is also stupid. I returned all five and spent a little more for the Cuddielink system.
I noticed there are 2 sim cards stacked on each other behind the battery tray. One has spypoint logo and the other is AT&T. Is there a way to cut spypoint out as a middleman and just insert a sim card from a cell phone and just call into it with the number associated to the sim card we use?
I've had my sky point at micro camera for about 6 months and have 100% signal on my cameras good signal at home it always sends me my pictures but on time The only time it stop sending pictures is when I had to update the firmware I have noticed if I'm somewhere at my phone is getting less than three bars then I won't get picture sent to me until I have somewhere with better signal so the signal you have has a lot to do with whether you get your pictures sent to you or not I'm happy with mine that's been about 6 months and I still have 80% battery life left but the camera gets 100% signal That's why the batteries last not searching for a signal all the time
Thanks for the video. Any updates you might have are appreciated. I hunt on a private lease about an hour and a half from where I live and I've been trying to find the right cellular camera to replace my regular game cameras with. This sounds like it may fit the bill.
I have blowed 3 or 4 packages can't get it to send pictures to my phone any advice 15 dollars a month an still can't get it to work thanking a hammer may help
I'm not writing a book on how bad my experience with spypoint was but let it suffice to say I purchased 3 and all 3 worked fine for the first 6 months at which they all 3 quit working . Customer service couldn't function....got nothing resolved...end of story . I will never own another spypoint product again 🖕

I have 3 Link Micros and 2 Cell Links and they all work great. If something doesn't work, a firmware update usually fixes it.
If you could do a video on how because ive tried every of micro firmware update like the company said and i cant get mine to work
@@TheMarvin339 SpyPoint has a video on UA-cam on how it is done

When downloading the firmware. You suppose to wait until all lights turn off before taking out the micro sd card.
How many people have problems with these cameras? I’ve bought seven and six months later two are not working.
All mine have been junk. 6 of them have had too many problems to list. Bottom line is they wont work for long no matter what.

Try the Spypoint cell-link, it takes your existing game camera and turns it into a "cell-camera".( using them on three campark T-20's)
