I have a a180 a guy recommended me to do a resonator delete then get a sport muffler rather then just a straight pipe what do you guys think?

Been looking at the a250 for a while now. What’s your verdict on getting one for long distance traveling? Mainly motorway ?? As you mentioned before I prefer the sound of the car opposed to getting a diesel haha

I would say yes mate but if you wanted similar power with similar sound if you did the exhaust and a remap with pops and bangs, get the a200 petrol as that will give you better MPG even though I did see 40mpg on motorway journey to Bradford :)

If you’re doing long distance and want good economy and power, look at the A class 220d, roughly 170bhp

It would sound the same mate but no pops and bangs due to no automatic gearbox..

hi Does the new A250 W177 will have the same sound and pop if im doing the same muffer edit? In Canada we only sell one model is 4 matic 0-60 6.2 seconds and I am not sure if it is the same engine as W176

Hi Mark,
I'm not to sure, I don't think it does pop and crackle but if it does, the muffler edit will make it louder...

there are two versions of the A250, one of them doesn’t fart and pop, mainly in tropical countries like Asia, South Africa, Australia and Middle East. Is that true?

Yes this is true, some cars in uk don't fart and pop also...

It all depends on the mapping. Factory standard, the A250 Eng by AMG (early pre-facelift car 2012/2014) Pops and bangs.
The later FL A250 does not pop and bang. Unless you get a remap to make that happen.

What did you ask for when booking in for this? Wanna ring around a few places to see if they do it but don’t wanna seem like a wolly 😅 also, was it an exhaust specialist and just a generic garage you went to? Cheers man

Exhaust specialist mate...most exhaust shops won't do it cos its not fully sealed and its a longer process...best bet is to screenshot the exhaust when you watch the video and show it to the exhaust shops??

Yes, but you need a tuner who can give you a crackle and pop map once you have done the exhaust...mine did not need a tune it does it as stock and the exhaust mod makes it louder...
