- First Book Signing In Over a Year! How Many Books Did I Sell? // I’m so excited to share the vlogs from my first book singings event in over a year! I’m certainly rusty, but I’m hoping this will be the first events of many! Along with the book signing vlog, I’m going behind the scenes into how I prepare for book signing events at vendor fairs, and how many books I sell at each event!

I finally get to have book signings again! If you want to get signed books but can't make it to events, you can shop for them on my website: thebooklaunchplanner.com/collections/signed-books
Thank you for talking about vendor events! I tend to get overwhelmed by in-person sales events so this kind of helped demystify it for me. Breaking down the costs and sales helped too. More vendor event vlogs for sure!!
I can't wait to share more! I have a few events planned that I think will be really great!
Such a great video Mandi! I'd love to see more behind the scenes of your book signings!
Thank you for talking about your book signings. This was so helpful! I'd love other behind the scenes videos for signing events!
I like the way you displayed the stickers at the 1st event!! Love the cannoli !
Love the gnome and crocheted items :)
I loved it this was so informative thank you 😊🖖🏾
Just discovered you yesterday. Loving these behind the scenes. Xx
Ohhh interesting to see that they are doing in person events again! Thanks for sharing your experiences! Love seeing the numbers too!
Thanks! It's so fun to do the events again!
when you factory in the time you sitting at your booth - moving the stuff to and from the event .... it was a loss. But it's good to get out there, which is fun!
Love this content!
congrats!
Behind the scenes are interesting.
Your layout looks really good. Especially the typography on your signs (maybe I’m weird for noticing lol).
Haha I'm glad you like it because I feel like my handwriting is horrendous! haha
Wonderful video❤️❤️❤️ Truly inspiring!
Where did you get your shelf from? The one you take to book signing. It’s very beautiful
One came from Amazon, the other is custom made by my husband.
Your table looked great. I had my first author table at a vendor show, and I sold hand made short story booklets. Same thing happened got stuck inside due to rain. But it went well considering the small crowd. I sold 21 booklets in total. I also brought a cooler of food so I didn't have to worry about finding someone to watch the table. Maybe that could help you when your not able to bring some help. Good luck! 👍
I normally pack food but I was so out of practice I forgot to! I had only brought snacks lol 21 books is amazing!
@@MandiLynnWrites thank you 😊 and I completely understand! There's a lot to remember planning and packing for these things.
This is super inspiring for a newer author like me! Quick question, how did you find these events? Did you just look them up, and if so, what kind of search words did you use?
The first one at the campground, I found through Facebook when a friend marked that they were "interested" in the event. The second event is an event hosted by an old co-worker of mine. I've found once you find one, add the vendors as friends on Facebook and then they post about their upcoming events and you can hop in!
@@MandiLynnWrites Great suggestions! Thanks so much!
Hey. how much you sell your books for at book signings?
Usually $15/each, and then the more books you buy, the cheaper they get.
@@MandiLynnWrites I never done a book signing before I'm almost done writing my 1st book to be published in September but I want to do a book signing I watch your videos your the best arthor out here.
Hey Mandi, I'm working on my first book, and I'd love to know where you found your collapsable shelving unit!
Here's the link to the tall once:amzn.to/30Oy0Jm
The one that's on my table was made by my husband.
@@MandiLynnWrites Thanks!
