I enjoy your tutorials. They are direct, to the point, and easy to follow. I'm having a problem with the results of Filmora's 13 Silence Detection feature. After I use silence detection and export the video to the timeline, the audio sounds much smoother 🎉🎉. However, I wind up with many small clips that cause distracting jump cuts in the video track 🤔. I want to learn how to use J and L cuts to hide the jarring impact of the jump cuts so that they will be less noticeable and distracting. Please do a tutorial about using Filmora to create J and L cuts while preserving the synchronization of the audio and the video tracks. I can't find anything about this on YT or the Filmora website. Thanks

This seems super helpful, but when I shoot I do it in lots of short clips. Is there a way to use this on a batch of clips at once? Mostly I just need to trim the beginning and end of each, I don't usually have pauses within the clip

Great video man. Cutting is about 90% of my editing time so this will help a lot. I really appreciate the extra tips too, including the way you pause when you make a mistake. The way you do it makes it much easier to use the silence detection feature later. Loved the text on screen tip too. Very well done!

I purchased the Wondershare UniConverter 16 and now thinking of purchasing the Wondershare Filmora 14 mainly for this tool. Does using this tool cost AI Credits?

on thing that has been killing me. I have a separate audio track that I recorded over a video like commentary. I can use the audio ducking feature to move the volume around when I talk but I have to delete the silence in my video. The only problem is, when I use this silence deletion feature, I don't see a place where I can delete the silence WITHOUT smashing all the remaining audio files together. Do you have an answer for this? It would save me SO MUCH time!

I find this feature indispensable, and amazing, time saver. I tweak the settings before I run it, and I wish it would remember my tweaks, it is annoying to have to make the same couple of changes every time.

I've been considering getting filmora for this feature. Does it come default with the lifetime license to filmora 12?

    Hi Eric,
I want to try out this demo of yours but I run into a problem: When I select the relevant video file in the timeline the silent detection tool is gray in other words not active. It looks like my video is protected or something. Honesty requires me to tell you that I am a newbee so the mistake must be mine.
Hope you will make many more filmore tutorials that will make me very happy.
I hope you will give me a reply......., someone else can also respond of course.
    regards,
    Harry from the Netherlands
