To the producers-I truly wish in your video titles that you would stop using “girl” and instead use “women”, which they are. At a time when Ukrainians are living under an aggressive invasion and war, each act of preserving Ukrainian traditions and culture is an act of defiance and hope for a better future for Ukraine. We all owe the fighting Ukraines our appreciation and support. So, in your titles, please don’t use “girl” to infantilize or belittle these brave women. Maybe this can also stop the many comments who are remarking about her beauty and why doesn’t she smile. And maybe we can see the bravery and heroism in these women’s daily acts of living and preserving their way of life. See them for the heroes they are. Thank you.
